There are legends from Ireland..before it was "Ireland". But the Fomari", or "Formari"-- can't remember which sp.--were an army of warriors before they became monstrous caricatures thru the retellings.

Sooo, thing is these Formari were said to have a Cyclops...eye. They were known for it. My thought abt that was that these mysterious Formari were prolly wearing sum decorative headgear.

And damn, but the Inquisitors headgear reminds me of what I thought it might look like.

The hitch to my lil thought abt that, however, was that these Formari were said to be able to shoot...magic laser things out of this Cyclops eye. Felling enemy warriors left and right...

so...yeah.

I do kinda wish the Inquisitors had more of their own unique insignia. It's too much like the Seekers and all. I understand their history together, but idk

Well, I think that may be the one thing we learned from that pic above, that Scribe Girl and Vivienne aren't the same person (which I actually thought was obviously, personally...). The fact that it still says Dragon Age III shows us it's slightly old, so it may show that Trident Guy, Scribe Girl, Grey Warden, Sera/elf girl are all companions like Vivienne. Or not.

In the concept art, I personally think the guy next Cassandra looks like Trident Guy, but he does have a beard kinda like Beardy Grey Warden Dude. The elf in the back, I'm starting to think could be Dorian.

Honestly, I do love it. With a passion. All the old stories. History. It's just so much like telephone game, tho. It's hard to get to the root of it all cuz of time and  tavern embellishments and what not. Lol!

But when I saw his headgear, the first thing that crossed my mind was that old tale....and I wouldn't mind having sum special powers attached to my cyclops headgear..heh, heh. Keep ur gunpowder, Qunari. I got a cyclops helmet. Zap!

I honestly don't expect them to do something like that in an officially released video. I think if they didn't want us to know something, they would have covered it up, like they did everything else. They seem to prefer "no comment" over telling us lies deliberately.

:shrug: I like it. Since they were literally the same organization in the past by some accounts, it makes more sense to me than a new symbol. Plus... I just like it!  So I'm also biased.

I mean, the shadows in the pictures could be making it seem like he has Cullen's facial hair, the expression his face is very "Culleny" but that could just be a coincidence. The hairstyle, although similar isn't quite right, because this dude's hair is receeding... unless they've decided to let the stress take it's toll of the poor guys golden locks.

What about when they told us that the survey leak was fake? Amongst other things. They're definitely not above telling white lies.

Yeah, I thought scribe girl vs. Viv was pretty obvious, but I kept running across posts associating the two. I was like..hmm..i..idk abt that.

So the chill dude in the back is an elf? It's hard for me tell. Argh! And trident guy doesn't have beard in the leak stuff. fwiw.

Frankly, I think they should tell us who these ppl are that they showed to us on a concept piece. I mean, you put them out there so, why not introduce them. So I can stop calling them Scribe girl; Trident dude; Chill Dude; and Beardy Grey Warden...or not.

Well for the shadows  if that was the case Cassandra should have facial hair too lol , but idk for some reason my gut is telling me that, that maybe Cullen  I mean you cant get any closer then that with his face, alltho others might think his face is genereic i personally dont think so but thats just me , also when it was tweeted to ML  is thats Cullen or not  ML could have just said no its not end of story so idk that kinda gives me some hope

I dunno, Trident Guy looks like he has facial hair to me, like a flavor savor or something like Fandral from Thor (second from right).


But, yeah, not GW Dude's full on beard. So, I dunno. The dude in the pic looks like his facial hair is manscaped... which doesn't seem like burly GW Dude to me.

tbh, i like it, too. but it's just so seeker-y. but no biggie.

Also w/ maybe!Cullen..the hair looks a lil too straight and pulled back. that's why i was wondering if it could be Seb. he has that same high forehead/hairline. and straight hair.

it's hard to tell tho. actually, i just wish they'd let us know one way or the other for sure if Cullen is a comapnaion, or not. give up the goodies already.

Not true, the lighting would depend on where the shadows fall. Although, if I'm honest I thought the maybe-Cassandra was a bloke at first too! 

The devs are never straight forward when it comes to stuff like that. Besides, we all know Cullen's in the game, so it would be pointless for him to confirm or deny it anyway because who cares? If it's not him then it doesn't matter because it's common knowledge that he's part of DAI anyway.

I dunno that this tells us much, tho, since he says "time will tell" to virtually all inquiries. They also  made a point of saying that all the concept art is just that, concept art, as they prep for the game. So it doesn't mean it's a scene that made it into the game. Maybe the artist was playing around with a scene and just to have people in it, took folks from that first marketing survey just to have faces.

yea they do, all month long but as Lola and all the others said , that maybe all they will "share" now is just stuff from the article so idk if they gonna throw anything newer then that in there but i guess we shall see

yeah, those are definitely shadows on maybe!Cullen's face. When you zoom in, he has half a "mustache".

The chin area is hard to see, tho. But he has no mustache.
