I dunno that this tells us much, tho, since he says "time will tell" to virtually all inquiries. They also made a point of saying that all the concept art is just that, concept art, as they prep for the game. So it doesn't mean it's a scene that made it into the game. It's so hard to tell exactly how much that guy actually looks like Cullen. I mean, the shadows in the pictures could be making it seem like he has Cullen's facial hair, the expression his face is very "Culleny" but that could just be a coincidence. The hairstyle, although similar isn't quite right, because this dude's hair is receeding... unless they've decided to let the stress take it's toll of the poor guys golden locks.
I dunno, I just feel like if that was Cullen then I'd just know instantly, like I did with the survey leak picture of him.
Well for the shadows if that was the case Cassandra should have facial hair too lol , but idk for some reason my gut is telling me that, that maybe Cullen I mean you cant get any closer then that with his face, alltho others might think his face is genereic i personally dont think so but thats just me , also when it was tweeted to ML is thats Cullen or not ML could have just said no its not end of story so idk that kinda gives me some hope

yeah, those are definitely shadows on maybe!Cullen's face. When you zoom in, he has half a "mustache".
The chin area is hard to see, tho. But he has no mustache.

Agree. Looking through fanart of Cullen, you know there are just those very few things he has to have. That tight curly maybe-strawberry blond hair, that shadowy, stubbly goatee, and those stern looking eyebrows over amber eyes. LOL Of course, throw in a sword of mercy, and it's obvious. But they like to keep characters "unique" appearance. At a base level they always keep the core design of what makes a character or past companion recognisable. So to change his hairstyle and/or facial hair completely would be counter productive from an "iconic appearance" stand point. Plus, if they really feel that he's as generic as others claim then they'll want to keep him looking as recognisable as possible.
