Ok this is completely OFF-TOPIC, but as I was reading the article about Morrigan, Lady Gaga her new single leaked: http://www.kiss108.c...artist/1055684/
IT is amazing!

LOL I think that could just be shadows cast by her Meredith-like crown/helmet thingie. Her armor looks like Meredith's, too.

edit: Ah,'d by Wiedzmin. Seems I was sorta right. It can't be intended to actually BE Meredith though, right?

Awesome! So it wasn't just screen shots as I had thought it would be! I hope they do something like this for the other characters.

Mr. Gaider's comments still concern me, though.

What else could he be referring to that Morrigan was planning and would do regardless of the Warden's approval?

The only thing I can think of is destroying Flemeth.

If I'll have to choose between Flemeth or Morrigan, Flemeth wins. I'm sorry Morrigan, but I can't say no to Capt. Janeway :?

LOL!!

Something tells me that destroying Flemeth would be a mistake. Like somehow she IS Thedas.

Now that we have confirmation that the DR isn't going to happen anyway, all the cryptic comments in the article are already being glossed over. This is BIG NEWS, BioForums! Pay attention!! LOL  Image IPB

LOL

So I read that part about Morrigan having her own agenda was that she always had the DR idea in her back pocket, regardless of her involvement or affection for the Warden. That, no matter how close you got to her, at the end of the game she would try to OGB  you, and no matter what you said, would disappear into the night for whatever her own personal end game is.

Anyhoo, that's my two cents, from someone who hasn't played the Origins ending or WH for a while.

I just... for the life of me, I have tried and cannot imagine Morrigan asking you if she could please make an Old God Baby, and then saying "Fine!" and running, like a petulant child, into the night to show you what's what.

If Morrigan really wanted an OGB, she was going to get an OGB. Period.

Granted, I am probably wrong on this point, as the future doesn't seem to be going that way. It'll be interesting to see how this rides out!!

Though... R2, I'd love for you to take a second look at Mr. Gaider's comments in the article and tell me what you think on second inspection. He really seems to be talking about Morrigan's future, and not just her past. :/

Um, I think perhaps I wasn't clear. I wasn't suggesting any petulant running off. I think she wanted the OGB for some bigger purpose that hasn't been revealed to us. That it could be part of Flemeth's and Yavana's big plan for the ancient dragons and the "time before the Veil" or even something else altogether that hasn't been told to us. Whatever that bigger plan is, she needed the OGB for it. Just because she doesn't have one, doesn't mean the plan is off.

Sounds like the OGB could've been just a backup plan, just in case whatever she had planned didn't work. Mind you, didn't she suggest in DA:O that her mother told her to do the ritual?

LOL, I should have clarified -- it's just that I see from posters in the main forum (okay, not for awhile since Morrigan has been old news until recently) the idea that Morrigan rreeeaaallllyyy wanted an OGB and was super sad that she couldn't have one because you said no.

That's not Morrigan.

I agree with everything you've just said, and have to add that I forgot all about the Eluvian and am ashamed of myself.

Yeah, that's what I thought; that the OGB/DR plan also included Flemeth. I have no idea how Flemeth's possible death fits into that, except that perhaps Morrigan now thinks she has to continue to implement The Plan without Flemeth now.

I honestly feel like she and Flemeth are more alike that she cares to admit. I don't think either of them are the bad guys, and rather that they are both working towards similar goals. Morrigan just hasn't realised it yet.

Totally agree. I just really wonder: do you think Morrigan really thinks her mom is dead?

Didn't she mention in-game that if it doesn't kill her then it'll weaken her for long enough for her to get away. She knows her mother isn't that easy to bump off, LOL!

So im wondering about something, if the journalists misspoke about Morrigan and her DR could they have misspoken about the "certain knight-captain" as well?

Can someone tell me? What happens in witchhunt if you did the ultimate sacrifice? Is Morrigan Still looking for the eluvian?
