If there were tombstones, nobody said there had to be bodies underneath them. They could have faked their own deaths and ridden off into the sunset with their LIs. Since DAI will have horses, this is now a possibility.

OMG... Horses... Cullen... an engine that can handle water...

 With how much my Hawke's life sucks, I wouldn't be surprised if he does get seperated from his LI. It'll happen eventually thanks to the bloody Calling, anyway. Same with the brother. 

I think I went out of my way to give my Hawke the sh!ttiest life/future possible...

David Gaider posted something a while ago about Justice keeping the taint at bay. Which leads to other questions about darkspawn and the Fade, but I don't think your Hawke has to worry about the Calling.

It definitely sounded like DG was saying "we reserve the right to make him/her show up and do whatever we want with them," didn't it? A few forumites have been hypothesizing that this is the real reason that race options were brought back for the game -- so that the Warden can be playable for part of it.

If the Warden was meant to be an NPC, there's no reason the racial options would be connected to it, though (except to maybe cement the return of female dwarves to the game.) Tough, though, since the engine will be so new and elves will be looking a little different.

They'd better tread lightly if they make that happen. I wouldn't be opposed to it if done right, though.

Oh, well in that case I'll just head canon that my Warden Amell got herself and Alistair spirit hosts to keep the taint at bay, LOL!

@brushyourteeth didnt they say that the only reason they included back races was because of the extra time and primarily that wasn't the intent, but since they got pushed back they did it

True nothing wrong with that. It would be kinda nice to see my warden if I find her but also as R2 said it would be kind of weird for me to not be playing that character and  have it  "robatically" controlled

twins by appearance or by personality cuz by appearance it might be diffrent depending  on how they will implement the warden in game

Both. I always play my first play through of a BioWare game as myself, so I literally recreate myself as close to my likeness as possible and make the choices I would make in that situation, just to see how badly I'd **** up if I was in the protagonist's shoes. However, I kept my Warden as me because... Well, because of Alistair LOL!

lol well i always manage to screw up in my 1st pt so i have to reload every time to get the outcome i want, but depending how the CC is in DAI it would be.. should i say "difficult" to recreate a character like the warden because in DAO alot of ppl used mods like hair and makeup and whatnot so in DAI we are not sure yet what we will have unless u played as one of the default wardens

grr i wish they would say or show something about CC , i know its too soon to ask but i was really looking forward to that, and if there is gonna be a CC demo the i would be ecstatic
