Just got home and watched the new GI video, I'm so excited!!! I can't get over how beautiful all the women of each race look, and can't wait to get my hands on the CC to see what I can come up w/. I love playing around w/ it to create a character, then make my own little backstory for her based upon the creation of her appearance.

I've never really played dwarves that much, but I am totally crushing on the female dwarf's hairstyle in that pic. I hope that we'll see a lot more pretty but still adventure-friendly hairstyles like that.

It's amazing how realistic they look, isn't it. It's so strange compared to what we're used to with DA:O and DA2.

I'm glad they seem to have the lips looking normal. I hate how they looked in Origins

It kind of seems like Game Informer is just rehashing everything that was in their article. Does anyone else get that impression? Do you think they'll surprise us with new information that wasn't in the article?

Oh, I'm sure they won't. The subscriber article seemed to be an overview of their whole interview. I'll bet they'll just continue to focus in on the details. If we're lucky, an article on Vivienne. Anyhoo, that's my guess. GI wants to make money on subscribers, after all.

I don't think we'll see gameplay videos until at least holidays. It's apparent the game isn't even fully running yet with the pre-alpha footage. I could see a Christmas present for us though.

Whatever they were, all the bodies looked like they'd been there for a while. It also looked like Varric really cared about that person he touched. I thought it might've been Hawke.

Well, it could be...especially if he and Hawke were rivals. Varric looks like he's been through hell.

There can't be much else to reveal, beyond companions and the whole save import thing. Aside from that any other new info would probably be in the form of demo videos of combat and stuff in 2014.

Yeah I just watched the video. Was excited to see that the backgrounds are still there if only related to your race. I also got the actual physical copy of gameinformer so I'm excited.

The fact that they said your race and class will impact who your character is as a person makes it sound like there will at least be a codex backstory to them.

You know, the video today also gave me the impression that we were right about the beginning story being roughly the same for all Inquisitors. Then 'mid-game' is when reactivity begins.

Yeah, just bigger pictures. I can see that Varric's armor has like fur under it.

As for the races I think that there will be (or at least I hope) each race gets a description as to what they were doing before whatever the Chantry does.

Which is another question...is the Chantry the bad guys now? Or rather...are they now all bad?

I stopped the video when I saw that they had layouts for the Trinity (as I call it) - rogues, warriors and mages.

My first playthrough will definitely be a rogue. My canon Origins character was a Cousland rogue, and my DA][ Hawke was a rogue as well.

I think I'm going to name my DA trilogy "A Game of Rogues" (thought I was going to say "Rogue's Gallery, didn't ya?)

Yeah, that's the impression I got. I guess for the first part we'll be desperately trying to find our footing and gather companions etc. The middle is presumably where we finally start getting the respect we need/deserve.
