The only problem I have with the rogue is that it seems to have less abilities then the other two <_<

I'm just glad the mage isn't wearing a long robe. He seems to be wearing some light armour encompassing trousers of some sort with a long coat. So much better than previous mage wear.

The rogue is wearing the same as the 'Inquisitor' in the concept art on p138 of the WoT book. It's a good look.

Well, these are just the exploration skills and I wouldn't bet on all of them making it into the game. They probably have more ideas on what to do with warriors and mages since they haven't had stuff like it previously (rogue was already the exploration class with lockpicking and survival tying into cunning).

I imagine there'll be a helmet toggle like in DAII. My rogue on the other hand? They'll be rocking the hell out of all and any pointy hoods. 

Hopefully the Mages get pointy hoods too. Or pointy hats.

would you guys mind if Cullen was a lil bit chunky?

The reason I ask is because i just finished modeling a body from a pic with a RL dude (while trying to mesh  how Cullen will look in DAI) ... all tho the dude I was modeling from,  the 3d version of him translated as a bit  "chunky"
Like he has a bit of junk in the trunk lol  I figured since Cullen got out of the templars he might have gotten a lil bit chubby , I still havent finished modeling the head I had to restart cuz i made a few mistakes and I started with the body this time.

After im done modeling the base mesh Im gonna take it into mudbox to get the detail such as  wrinkles  and pores and whatnot, also im gonna do my best to try and model  the "armor" he had in the concept art pic  and see how that will look in 3d anyways  here is what i've done so far, let me know if he needs to "loose some weight lol"

Mark Darrah: Really the interesting opportunity here is... Because of the core tenet of the story is of the Inquisition -- this is something that... while it is created in opposition to the church, it's created from a moment that is very driven by something the church is related to. So playing as a dwarf or playing as an elf is going to actually put you in an interesting situation where you're actually less trusted, less able to build that trust. In a lot of cases, people are just going to treat you as the Inquisitor and it won't make a huge difference. But in specific cases, it's going to make a huge impact.

So I just needed to try to unpack this very awkward sentence about how the Inquisition is formed. LOL

OK, for starters, we know that elves and dwarves are not Andrastian, by and large, and so not typically part of, or even treated nicely by, the Chantry. Right? So, if the Inquisition is in opposition to the Chantry, I could imagine that non-human Inquisitor would be in even greater opposition for this reason. Simple, I suppose.

Now, how does the Inquisition come into opposition with the Chantry? It seems that whatever event causes the Inquisition to be formed, it is "related to the Chantry." Adding in what MLaw said about our Inquisitor being the sole survivor of some "event" and how it's unclear if the Inquisitor even had a role in causing it...? All this suggests to me that the "event," presumably the Veil Rip, also has something to the with the Chantry... like perhaps it is some peace gathering at the Grand Cathedral and the Divine dies in some fiery doom. Commence finger pointing, chaos, the Chantry probably insisting it has sole authority to investigate what happens, lots of hurt feelings, and I could see our Inquisitor being set up quite in opposition to the Chantry. Then, add in race, an elf or dwarf Inquisitor would be even more untrusted.

Anyhoo, just some speculation as I try to parse Mark Darrah's overly cautious statements. Other thoughts?

I don't think we'll see gameplay videos until at least holidays. It's apparent the game isn't even fully running yet with the pre-alpha footage. I could see a Christmas present for us though.

Some of us also celebrate Hanukkah. I require eight nights of DA information.

Ha! my mom would always make me wear something like that in elementary school. I would always teased when I would wear them.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I would not mind in the slightest! At least in DA2, he's a sword-and-board guy, a tank. That fighting style requires a lot of core strength, i.e. thick trunk and strong legs, and it requires a lot of stamina, but not quite as much raw hitting power, so he wouldn't need to have arms like a god. It would make perfect sense for me if the bulk of his mass (or the mass of his bulk) was in his torso. And I like stocky men. And slender men. OK, I'm easy to please.

Agree  I have a soft spot for fluffy guys. I would actually love if Cullen gained a little weight. Although the pic you posted ag99 looks more "normal" sized than chunky

I've been thinking about that speculation of yours R2.

What if it is about Andraste, I mean what is more important to the Chantry than to keep the image of her intact? Maybe she was a mage? Maybe the Chantry is going to the extreme to keep it hidden?
