You know I just realized that during the Adamant quest gameplay footage, our character is already called Inquisitor despite being only Lev 2. Add to that the presence of Cass and Varric, and I don't think what we're seeing is the opening "event"of which you are the "sole survivor" and subsequently become the Inquisitor. It's conceivable that they just decided to start their character with that particular quest for demo purposes because it was finished, instead of it being the actual chronological start of the game.

I agree completely.

There's also the possibility that while "Adamant" is your active quest at the time, you haven't actually arrived there yet. We could be on the opposite end of Thedas from Adamant Fortress for all we know, and maybe the developers just wanted to give us that little clue to watch us go crazy.

Not to mention generating some buzz about it as a location may sell a dozen or so copies of "Asunder." LOL!

Yay! I was hoping to see some screencaps of the new video. The only one you can really get a decent look at is Beard Warden, One thing that stuck out to me is how tiny Vivienne is! She's so thin, I wonder if the character's physique will change based on their class.

So in the game informer "...Players have so much ground to cover that the team is implementing a mount system (which is more involved thatn simply riding a horse around)..." Did anyone else think Viva la Potato Wagon Banter?

Now I'm hoping that there'll be a moment when we're in a wagon or carriage-- maybe heading to a location we need to go to next for story purposes, so the story has some noble or something takes us there in a convoy and just... banter. Amusing banter. And possibly a reference to playing I Spy.

Someone also needs to fall off their horse.

I find such terrible things amusing.

I think they're just unaware of the math and think he's in his 40s (which of course for many of us is prime romancing age, but to someone in their teens this probably seems ancient LOL). Yeah I'm gonna be 33 in a couple weeks; I like to think I'm still pretty "romance-able" 8D

Im young, only 22, but my boyfriend is 30. He's pretty romance-able to me. Lol. I've always liked older guys. Besides, I don't even pay too much attention to the ages in Dragon Age.

Plus side is that a lot of devs and writers on the DA team are older anyway, so I doubt they'd essentially make their own age groups unromanceable lol.

The only reason he went "crazy"  over Cailan  is because he wanted to bring orlesians in  and Loghain HATED orlesians because of what they did to his family like in the book  they mention that they raped his mother in front of him and his father and they they killed her so yea I would be pissed with Cailan too

lol  well before i read the book and played origins at 1st  yea i felt sorry for Cailan  and i thought Loghain  was an arse but after i read the book  i dont blame him  but i suppose he could have handled it diffrently tho instead of letting  his son-in-law die but i guess in the heat of the moment he just said  fuk it  its easier this way... idk
