I'm really curious (to get off topic for a second) about what Varric's story arc is gonna involve? I mean I get why he is in the Inquisition,  he was there, so why not (ahhh classic Varric ), but is he searching for Hawke and via him/her the Warden as well?

I'm really curious (to get off topic for a second) about what Varric's story arc is gonna involve? I mean I get why he is in the Inquisition,  he was there, so why not (ahhh classic Varric ), but is he searching for Hawke and via him/her the Warden as well?

At first it'll be all: "omg! I've just encountered Cullen for the first time jsdfklsjdljfldfksjlk!!!", then "omg, Cullen said this!", "Cullen called my character beautiful" or "why isn't he romanceable, nooooooo!" And then over time it'll turn into "Cullen said/did this during this encounter, I wonder what he meant?" Aaaaand so on. We'll all squee to begin with just because we finally get to see Cullen again (regardless of the role he'll play), but eventually once everyone has completed the game the real conversations begin.

Exactly it might take months lol. A fact not unique among Cullen fans I must add. It's just that fans will be looking at stuff through rose colored glasses. I can't wait myself.

I mean I already live Vivienne if only because she is terribly Orlesian and new. I'm sure that might change though lol.

If we're just throwing speculation around... she could have been forced to marry someone else or something to that effect...

I thought the same. Maybe she was used as a pawn in some way, a deal between the House of Tethras and the Guild? I hope we learn a bit more about the Guild and Bianca (she may even turn up in the game, who knows).

I watched the video on fighting again and call me crazy, maybe it is the lighting, but beardy dude turns blonde later in the video @ 3.55

I don't see fire or lighting reflecting off someones head and it looking that bright. And Sera is behind that guy and she has blonde hair according to the survey and it looks just like the beardy dude.

I think that's just the Inquisitor's hood that we see in the close close foreground. In  that shot Sera is up on the steps where the fire is. Vivienne is at the foot of the steps, and beardy dude is next to the Inquisitor. 4

OH MAN! I totally take that back. I see what you mean now. I think this is Inquisitor, at 3:33. And, I think he has just discovered those corpses. He stands at the top of those stairs.



Then when we go back to this scene, it looks like we may be at the bottom of those stairs fighting those same corpses. Inquisitor's health is way down, so he's probably at the back. The archer I saw is actually a corpse. And I think you mean this guy, right? Heh. You can see that he's the pointy shield guy, i.e. beardy warrior guy. Huh. So is this a close up of Beardy GW Dude?

The archer on top of the stairs when targeted says "Corpse", I thought first too that it was Sera. She is on the bottom with the beardy guy and the Inquisitor, which was a rogue in that playthough and only Vivienne is by the stairs.

I also think that the first shot I posted, from 3:33, is after the other scene. Everyone's health bars are the same except for Vivienne's. So at 3:33, Vivienne's health bar may be down after her fire wall shenanigans in the other scene.

Anyhoo... dunno why his hair looks so blond there. He definitely looks dark in the other one. Maybe the fire lighting effects are off. Sera's hair looked weird and green like that, too, in the shadows.

Yeah. I think it's just the lighting/shadow effects ballsing up. It is pre-alpha footage, after all, and Sera's(?) hair turns from white blonde to green in certain light/shadows.

But, I totally see your Basch comparison now! LOL

Also, look at the quilted skirt on the first pic compared to the GW concept art. Although it's red vs. blue, it looks similar with the quilting and silver rivets or whatever.
