I chose Anders for my first playthrough and gosh was I angry at the end with him. I actually yelled at the TV "WTF Anders!".

Yeah, I sorta wished I'd had that my first playthrough... since I wouldn't have had any idea what was coming. So it would really get you in the feels.

For who compliments Cullen ... I see him as a very private and closed up person, who doesn't share his feeling lightly with anyone, so I think a more emotional person, that plays his cards open.

Seeing how dramatic and animated the maybeTrident Guy is in the concept art I could see him being like that. Like after a while he would tell you "Look, I like you, no reason to beat around the bush. Take it or leave it." With Cullen I think you would have to pull it out of his nose, you know, like trick him to finally admit that he likes you. He just seems like a duty first kinda guy to me.

I like this idea. Indeed, I also imagine romancing Cullen will be like getting blood from a stone... at first. But, I'm sure underneath all that stern stuff beats the heart of a hopeless romantic. LOL I hope I get to go in and find it!

I thought he had more of a soul patch w/ a mustache.

But indeed, Cullen seems more practical? I wouldn't mind having a complement LI char that is more roguish. Not necessarily a Rogue, but just a roguish charm.

Yeah, in this one, I think it's too hard to tell if the dude next to Cass is Trident Guy or Beardy GW dude. My inclination is more Trident Guy since it's not a whole beard. But hard to say.

Cullen actually isn't wearing any weapons in that image, that... might not bode well. On the other hand, I can't imagine they'd put him in such an outlandish outfit if he were to be a NPC. What is he, the friendly neighborhood pimp for our castle?

And am I going insane, or has Viv been raiding Scribe girls closet in the GI images of her??

I don't know that we see anyone else with weapons, either though...? Do we?  Except for Mr. Stabby. (just saw  your edit!) You know... maybe!Cullen's posture almost looks like he has left hand on a sword at his hip... like it's just resting there in case he needs to, ahem, swoop in. 

On the outfits... I actually still don't see the resemblance between Scribe girl and Vivienne... so I dunno... (unless you mean poofy sleeves??  maybe it's just an orlesian thing?)

yeah, that bothered me, too. And his face looks photoshopped in.

But Dave of Canada came by once to ofer hope abt that. Saying sumthing like it was cuz they already had him locked in? For various insightful reasons that I can't remember, but....sigh....idk. I just don't know anymore.

i think those feet are attached to somebody. i mean in the left hand corner. follow the feet legs up. it seems there's a hooded figure. maybe w/a mask on?

maybe these ppl are just sum we run into in a tavern. maybe it's where we meet Sera. and the others are just sum npc's she's drinking with?

I've seen the drinking picture close up (maybe 'cause I bought the mag), and the big guy is laughing his head off, slapping his forehead. He definitely has a full beard.

As for the knife-stabbing-the-map pic, I thought the guy next to Cass had a full beard as well. Plus he has the same over-the-top mannerism, so I just assumed it was the same guy.

I dunno why, but that drinking picture up there reminds me of that part in the Asunder novel when Wynne, Evangeline, Rhys and Adrian go into a tavern, and Adrian has that drinking competition with Wynne lol.
