Hiya,
I'm a Cullen fan (because you know, why not) and to be honest the attitude I'm seeing lately towards so called 'fangirls' on the boards is grating on my nerves in a powerful way.  So I thought I'd stop by this morning, say Hi and add my virtual voice to the Cullen thread.
So yeah, Hi and I think you're all great and Squee....or whatever (to be honest I'm not too sure about the squee-ing bit but I'm willing to give it a shot)

Thanks, nice to be welcomed. I'm heading out for the day now-ish, I'm running late....I'm always running late but I have wanted for a while to say seeing 'fangirls' being vocal about the things they want in gaming even if it's just a cute boy to romance is encouraging to me and I like reading it, I like to see it and well just keep being vocal despite the crap that gets thrown at you - us I guess now!

LOL Thanks and welcome! Pretty much anything goes here... but it's defiitely turned for many of us into our happyplace where we can avoid the fangirl hate in the main threads. Welcome aboard!

It was great  I like how you round up all the info so nicely and in such an organized way. And your delivery is so engaging. 

It reminds me of these two Let's Plays. I was in the mood to watch a DA2 Let's Play, so I found this GREAT one with this British fella. He was really enthusiastic and just had a great personality, and never said anything offensive (even apologized when he thought it sounded like he said something sexist against Aveline.) Sadly, I realized he stopped after four videos though! I was disappointed.

So I went looking for more. I came across one by a girl who spoke in such a monotone whisper I couldn't make it past 30 seconds of her video. Next I came across a guy who, not 5 minutes into his video, started critizing everything, the combat, the characters, everything. He was nerd raging. And his voice was quite frankly pretty nerdy and lame-sounding. 

So yeah, it takes talent to do videos!

People want me to do an LP of DAI when it comes out. I dunno if I will though. BioWare games are the types of games I like to play privately and enjoy the experience at my own pace. If I was to do an LP of it, I'd have to stop and start and talk all the way through it, which ruins the experience. Plus, people would only judge if I romanced one character instead of another, or whatever lol.

I get that. You could always just do a LP of your second or third playthrough? Unless they were asking you to film a blind LP. With a game like that, where you're so emotionally attached to actually follow the development, it'd be annoying to have to think about being entertaining to another audience. You just enjoy it on your own Lola!

You could record your first play through and then splice it up for editorializing later. Like commentary on your initial thoughts when X, Y or Z happens throughout. That would be fun to watch.

Yeah, I'd probably just record little bits and pieces and then throw it into a review or something.

At the very least, you need to record your first encounter with Cullen and then edit in your thoughts - even if you F it up. Truth in journalism!

I was checking out the vid, Lola. Brilliant as always, btw.

Morrigan: When I recently did a PT w/the DR, Morrigan makes it clear that Flemeth..and Morrigan were all abt the OGB.

Morrigan says that Flemeth was the one that showed her the spell, and taught her how to use it. Morrigan asks, "Didn't you wonder why she saved your life? This is why."

Maybe she was lying, but if not, I wonder. Will Morrigan have a stand off w/Flemeth over the OGB? Will Flemeth want to do...something w/the kid, and Morrigan is like oh, hell no. A mother fighting for her child would be very human.

Although, somehow I don't think we're gonna see much of Flemeth this time.

Ack, and I'd hate to see Flemeth made out to be a really bad guy. Right now she's mysterious, and kinda dangerous. Yet, she keeps saving my life. And when Merril would bow to her, she stated the "Do you know who I am beyond that title?...Then rise. The Ppl are to quick to bend their knee." Which doesn't sound like a power hungry entity to me.

Regardless, those two were very much in cahoots from the get go.
