It doesn't look any bigger than a one handed sword to me? In the concept art in the survey leak she's in the middle of unsheathing it, so it might look longer than it is?

Honestly, while watching her movie, at least, I thought Cassandra was more like a brawling Rogue than a warrior-- either that or she's a warrior with her own style different to Sword and Board/two-hander.

Maybe, maybe not. I lean toward not, since my pet theory is that chill elf dude is Dorian and the "santa maria" hands in the air guy is trident guy. Either way... from the hints we've seen... seems like more than 7 companions.

in the leak does Dorian have a description? And if so do they meantion what race is he? Weather  his human or elf?

His leak description suggests a personality that I think meshes better with what we see in the elf dude. And as I told Lola, the description doesn't say his race, although a priori I would assume most magisters are human.

It would be pretty cool to see an Elf who is actually regarded as powerful and important beyond the whole Dalish thing.

LOL I dunno.. have you seen all the subscriber GI pics of her? Her sword is almost as tall as she is. I don't think I can link them still...

But, yeah, DotS almost made her look like a rogue. How awesome would it be if warriors could dual wield again?

Idk about that one elfs are threated pretty badly in most of Thedas im not sure that Tevinter would be a good place for an elf  since they keep them as slaves and stuff like that..

That's a good number I think. And as mentioned Scribe girl may not be a full companion. Although, I kinda hope she is...

Dorian could be an exception-- if he is an elf. Doesn't it say he's an outcast, even amongst the magisters? Or am I confusing what someone said they'd like with what was actually in the survey? 

If I remember, thanks to what Fenris did, his sister was also training as a magister's apprentice instead of being a slave? So there is special circumstances when it comes to that sort of thing? Dorian, if he is an elf, could just be a damn skilled mage or went through some kind of trial to earn his freedom/rank/reason to be Mister Chill McSmugson.

Ooh, good point with Fenris's sister!  Heh. There you go. I always imagine it being a very hierarchical society... but that argues you can "work" your way up.

Agreed. I mean, I know it's impossible to get a good idea of a character's personality based on one piece of concept art, but that chilled out Elf certainly looks self assured and confident like Dorian's description. The maybe!Cullen is pulling his classic "Cullen-moderator" pose, and the maybe!Cassandra is doing her classic "angry and outraged" reaction. 

Mind you, we don't know why he's stabbing that map. Something bad could've happened that they've just learnt about, like "Maker nooooo! Everyone's just died in such 'n' such!" And everyone else is like "NOOOOOOO" and the chilled Elf dude is secretly like "mwahahaha, it was me!"

Oh, he's an outcast then! Sounds like he either left of his own accord, or they booted him out. I've gotta say, I'm warming to this guy... especially if Elf dude is Dorian.

I feel that I'm going to love this guy if he's in. I hope he's our healer, just to give me an excuse to never remove his brazen, clever arse from my party.  

I have a horrible feeling that he's gonna end up grabbing my attention. Which is bad if Cullen is a companion/LI... which is unlikely, but you never know, lol.
