I feel at the very least it might be more than seven. If it is seven... 

Then we only have room for another mage, who will more than likely be male, because those who will romance a male need another option? That's assuming Beardy Grey Warden is the first option. (I really don't know if Qunari dude or Varric will happen as a romance so... I don't knoooow.)

Yeah, I think if there ever will be a Qunari LI, it will be female. And Varric, I don't know ... I really don't see him being a romance at all.

I think we are miles away from learning who all our companions are, including LI. Speculation is kind of fruitless at this point. It's like wondering who will qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

 The thing that makes me think Varric wouldn't be an option is what the Devs have said about Bianca, and how the only 'issue' that could create friction to build a romance arc on... is Bianca. We've had enough guys who need to move past old loved ones, haven't we?

Well, the last two updates were videos, so I'm gonna put my money on an article or screenshots today. I'm trying to think of the topics they cover in GI that they will be able to delve deeper into. Companions are definitely one, maybe Varric or Cass will be in the spotlight today?

lol i was just watching true blood and when i saw Joe Manganiello i thought he kinda looked like the GW dude what do u guys think? If he looks like that in game that i could romance him lol

You know guys, we could have as few as 0 companions through the WHOLE game. Most of them won't be available ALL the time. They could also be "one OR the other" (like Alistair vs Loghain). Some will be temporary (like the ones in DAO for the Origins and at Ostagar and siblings in DA2) but for a larger quest area. So we could have MORE than 10 in total. So when David Gaider said 10 is not correct... (+ there will most likely be a DLC companion and you know you should stay FAR away from that romance since it won't be any chievos or actual hankypanky after all the sweat and blood we put into that etc...)

WE COULD HAVE MOOOOAAAR!

It was great  I like how you round up all the info so nicely and in such an organized way. And your delivery is so engaging. 

It reminds me of these two Let's Plays. I was in the mood to watch a DA2 Let's Play, so I found this GREAT one with this British fella. He was really enthusiastic and just had a great personality, and never said anything offensive (even apologized when he thought it sounded like he said something sexist against Aveline.) Sadly, I realized he stopped after four videos though! I was disappointed.

So I went looking for more. I came across one by a girl who spoke in such a monotone whisper I couldn't make it past 30 seconds of her video. Next I came across a guy who, not 5 minutes into his video, started critizing everything, the combat, the characters, everything. He was nerd raging. And his voice was quite frankly pretty nerdy and lame-sounding. 

So yeah, it takes talent to do videos!

Actually, that's something I've been wondering myself. If we're gonna have this horse/mount, I can't imagine the companions running along behind us like in Skyrim because that would look daft (but funny). So either they aren't given mounts too, then perhaps you're correct in that at times our protagonist will be running around by him/herself.

I'd like to suggest a "what I did last summer" theme, where folks come up with stories, photomanips, dialogue, banter, what have you, related to what the heck Cullen might have been doing for the three years since DA2. He could be relating the story to someone, true or not. It could be a news article describing some event he's  involved in. It could be a faux facebook entry. Whatever. Funny. Serious. Silly. Knock yourselves out.
