Hmm... that could be! I was actually thinking it sounded like her opinion on all that was formed by what she learned from Varric. But I'd have to read that part again. Or maybe they simply mean her, "So Meredith was to blame." epiphany. But that doesn't call into the question the whole Chantry. Just one radical element that was already put down. Hmm...

The Divine dies and then she switches?

Aha!!  This I like! Justinia dies, Chantry goes back to its anti-mage ways... OK, this works with my headcanon. Phew.

With the theme, it's just a celebration for page 2500. When we get to the page, paste up whatever you want. If you're not around let us know, and we can hold you a spot.

If you write something, usually if it's less than 500 words or so, you can just post it right on the page. Bigger, you may want to post it elsewhere and link (ff.net, tumblr, AO3, BSN blog).

It can also be art, photomanips, dialogues/banter, recipes, playlists, whatever tickles your fancy. Just something somewhat related to the theme of what the heck Cullen's been up to for the past 3 years. Boy scout leader? Topless horse washing? Moonlighting at any of these things while serving at K-Commander of Kirkwall? And, how would he tell someone, or how would you learn about it? Is someone asking him what he's been up to? Did someone read about him somewhere?  Is it something he'd tell you the truth about, or prevaricate? Does that depend on who he's talking to?

is it ok if i participate in this as well? i have a couple of ideas  but it would prob take me a lil bit to  make them happen

I've said it before. Leliana is the herpes of Thedas. She's annoying, not particularly lethal, and is impossible to erradicate.

Believe it or not, I have no idea who Zoidberg is, so I cannot comment on his/her/its similarity to Tallis. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing her again, unless it's a cameo.

That's a point. In the last video Mark Darrah said we're against the Chantry because of something they're involved in. So maybe the Chantry and/or the bad Templars bump the Divine off?

LOL Harsh!  She has her fans though, and I'm totally cool with that, of course.

It's just, Varric, Cassandra, Morrigan, Leliana... you couldn't have listed four characters from the franchise I cared less about. And I know they are popular and very well-written characters; I just somehow got REALLY REALLY unlucky here LOL Like, just the tiniest mentioned of Fenris, Anders, Isabela, Zevran, CULLEN, hell, any of the characters *I* fell in love with would just be dandy!

I liked Leliana, so I'm cool with seeing her pop up again. I just wonder why Cullen's name wasn't mentioned in that article baring in mind he's supposed to represent the moderate Templars according to DG himself.

I can understand the part Leliana has to play, but I'm actually tired of her. XD She's like the Liara of the Dragon Age series.

In this article, they seem to be showing us the big guys on the playground: Templars, Mages, and the Chantry. Cullen may be in a party that isn't neutral per-say, but he may not agree with any of them in the whole. The Inquisition is the new kid on the block that will say: "hey, I don't really agree with them either, so let's all do something about it." Cullen may join THAT cause.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. For every person who dislikes her there are 10 who love her to itty-bitty zealoty bits, so I doubt they'd invoke fan rage by killing her off.

There was a time when I thought that it wasn't her religion that bothered me. I like lots of highly religious characters, so to dislike one so strongly was kind of unusual for me. But then I played Leliana's Song and actually liked her. A lot, as a matter of fact. Since the only thing that's different is that she got religion. Maybe there's something in that whole "born again Andrastian" thing that rubs me the wrong way? I mean, I like Cassandra and Cullen, two of the most religious characters in the game, and I probably wouldn't like them as much if they weren't devout.  But they don't attribute their faith to visions, which IMO are kinda suspect.


Of course, now Cullen's going to come out with how he became a templar because he had visions or some deep epiphany and I'm going to have to chop his head off.

Edit: And yeah, not hating on Lel fans, here. My issues with her are entirely my own, and people will like who they like. I just don't. The fatigue of seeing a character I was initially indifferent-to-dislike about reappear over and over and over and over is starting to show though. When DAO came out, I was not a fan, but I could tolerate her. Now.... not so much.

I know how you feel, the update has me in a crap mood now too.  the lack of mention of Cullen has me on edge, not that he is the only thing I am looking forward to in DAI, but I still always look for info on him every chance I get and there hasn't been any.

Yup. That was mentioned here a while ago. They seem to be slaking the curiosity of the straight male gamer first. Disappointing, but hardly unexpected. I wouldn't look for anything about the boys until much, much later.
