I know how you feel, the update has me in a crap mood now too.  the lack of mention of Cullen has me on edge, not that he is the only thing I am looking forward to in DAI, but I still always look for info on him every chance I get and there hasn't been any.

It's hard to tell if that's a good sign, or a bad one.

I guess we can hope they are holding back on saying anything cause he'll be a companion and they want it to be a big surprise.

Yeah I remember that conversation, and it seems to be true. BUT I just seem to be really unlucky. I would be happy learning more about Sera or Scribe Girl (who I'm really, really interested in). Or I'd love to see a mention of someone like Isabela, Aveline, or Merrill instead of Morrigan or Leliana.

Maybe so. *nod* Although I feel it's impossible to tell who will be romanceable at this point in time. I wish I found either of those characters interesting.

Man, I was thinking the opposite. With all the companion art peaks and leaks, it seems like there's a lot more men to me and I found that disappointing for female representation lol.

I'm talking about the GI stuff though... so far we've been given insight into Varric, Cassandra, Vivienne, Morrigan, and now Leliana.

Which is incredibly ironic. In one of the Cullen hater threads, one of the guys said that the reason he hates Cullen (and fans) so much is because with all the hype about the hot men, they're neglecting to say anything about the women. That was the tread I was talking about when I said that I owed you a beer.

But it's still early in the month. Maybe they're saving Cullen (and other male companions) for later in the month? Although, yeah, you'd think they'd mention a templar in an article about mages and templars.<_<

as i said before maybe they didn't mentioned Cullen because i guess he no longer serves the chantry/templars and has pretty much seen it all and maybe he doesn't need anymore convincing about the whole mage/templar thing perhaps he will be mentioned in other articles weather his an npc or something

That's what worried me, it was an article about Mages and Templars but no mention of Cullen. Not even a little hint hint of him at all. But if they mentioned Leliana and before they only hinted at her by calling her a certain red haired orlesian, maybe next time they will open handedly talk about him?

That's a good point. So far all we've seen from the males is Varric and we already know him. There is that beardy dude, but he clearly wasn't meant to be seen lol.

Heh, a long time ago, I thought I could handle and be okay with Cullen being only an npc or something, but now I had gotten my hopes up so much that I find myself on rage just imagining that Cullen wouldn't be more than that. then I mentally slap myself thinking I am acting like the crazy Cullen fan that all the haters mention.

We knew this day was coming. More than a year before release and they're giving us thrice-weekly updates for a whole month?

There were bound to be a few crappy "Thanks. We knew that." articles.


Then again, it's weird how much other supposed big DA fans don't know in other corners of the Internet, though. If you check out the DA facebook page it's always full of people saying "Man, I wish they'd bring races back!" or "Will the pc still be fully voiced?"

If it's because of those fools that we have disappintments like today then I find that lazy and unacceptable. LOL!

Nothing would make me sit more smugly right now than to find out Cass and Leliana are in a serious relationship and are completely devoted to each other - so no romance. And I'm a total hypocrite as I say that, knowing full well I'd cry bitterly to find that Cullen was off limits too.

its ok ur not the only one thats pissed about the article im pretty bummed too  that they havent mentioned him but im still hoping that at some point in time weather its the article or something else he will pop up somewhere have faith

This is soooo true  The most annoying people are the ones who are like, "I didn't play DA2; what happens if (etc. etc.)" Like, really? You skipped an ENTIRE GAME? Of course you have no idea what's going on!

Then there are the people who write "Liliana," "Isabella," "Allistair" and "Sanders" <<< Yes I've actually seen that one.
