Oh my god? How does that happen? LOL. Its so weird to me, like they should know better or something, shows how much of a nerd I have become for Dragon Age. And when they say for 'this game' it rubs me wrong, like I want to howl "ITS CALLED DA: INQUISITION, USE THE NAME!"

Yeah, I think that's just it. On one hand... yeah, we knew it would have the Mage-Templar war. We knew how it led up to that. But, there are few nuggets that are new. We haven't heard any sources talk about what it means for the templars to be split from the Chantry, so that's kinda cool (in an "oh sh!t... " sorta way) that we know they comb the land in search of threats to humanity. Makes you wonder if theirs has become a reign of terror yet. Ahem.

It is sorta conspicuous that a templar article didn't mention Cullen, though. So either he isn't a big deal in the next game, or they're just not ready to reveal his participation yet.

I can imagine those Templars who are going about looking for mages, killing them in front of people and stuff to make an example of what happens to magic users and those who aid them.

What I'm curious about from that article, is how they mentioned that when the game begins it has the Templars/Chantry/Mages assessing the situation. I wonder if that's something we'll see as a sweeping opening cutscene, or if we'll actually be playing through that part, before the veil rips open.

 Still looking for the link to the article, but it sounds like it wasn't too interesting. At least for the lore savvy. 

And poor Leliana! So much 'GTFO, woman!' in here. There isn't one character in Dragon Age I dislike, so I'm cool with hearing about anyone. I guess that makes me lucky. I can totally empathise, though. There's a character I can't stand from a different game who seems to be eeeeeeveryones favourite. Many bitter feels are had towards him. 

I'm not too surprised about Cullen not getting a mention, though. I love him, and I loved watching his role in DA2 play out, but when it comes down to it he isn't very important to the issue as a whole. When people talk about what went down in Kirkwall its Hawk, Meredith, and Orsino that's on everyone's lips rather than the Knight-Captain. It makes sense to talk about Lelianna too, because she was obviously involved in the search for Hawke at the end.

I AM unsure about Cullen's involvement, especially when it comes to companion status, but those feels have nothing to do with this article. Those come more from the companions we know about already. *scratches chin*

Hard to say, it's all very obscure despite the new info. Maybe they'll go into full detail at PAX Prime. It could be that this GI Dragon Age month is supposed to just wet our appetite for the big showcase on the panel.
