Interesting about PAX from blog:
"If you can’t make it to the base, or won’t be attending PAX Prime this year, our friends at Nerd Appropriate will be on hand to record and post later as podcasts. Stay tuned for more info about that at a later date'.

So my own emerging headcanon, until we have actual information(!), is that the Chantry itself is split into factions, pro- and con-Justinia, and that these lines generally also fall along pro- and con-mages/Circles lines. The pro-Justinia faction could even be rather small: Justinia, Cass, Leliana. Then... BOOM! Badness happens, Justinia dies, sky fractures, all hell poureth out. Cass and Leliana are standing there, holding the bag, without core Chantry support, trying to figure out what to do. Ostracized already anyway, they break off from the Chantry and form their own group... co-opting the ancient Inquisition moniker to give their "upstart" group legitimacy.
This is exactly what I was imagining would happen!
Only thing that bothered me about that is I think Cullen might be on the other sideIn my world... he's in there with them, holding the bag, as it were...
I, on the other hand, would not mind in the slightest if he were with the bulk of the templars, if it meant he were recruitable. Hey, if we get Vivienne by negotiating with the mages, why wouldn't we get Cullen by negotiating with the templars? You'd think they'd want to keep an eye on their investment. And if he's there with you, it would mean that he's convinced that your cause is worth fighting for. It's an opportunity to forge a truce, to be an active part of his character development.

"Seek the light, for the wicked take root in the darkest corners."
This is an example of inspiration striking where you least expect it. While doing some yard work I found a tiny magical forest in the undergrowth. With a few additions it became the starting point for an ancient and sinister place.

Playable races have returned, so we can be a Human, Elf, or Dwarf.
We have been assigned agents (that aren't the companions) to do quests and stuff for us
A mage human named Vivienne has been confirmed as a companion, along with Cassandra and Varric
We also saw a bearded guy who looked like the Grey Warden, and a possible female Elf in our party too
We have a horse! Or more specifically a mount to ride around on
We get to take control of a desert outpost that looks to be Adamant Fortress (from the Asunder novel)
We saw pictures of race presets and they are stunning

It could be. I have a hard time seeing him being OK with the Lambert-inspired Templar Order's seemingly draconian "deal with them as we see fit" approach to mages after his epiphanies at the end of DA2 about what the Order stands for. But if he is with them, I just hope he's either conflicted about it or they motivate it well in some way.berelinde wrote...

I just don't see him as the type of man to be hunting and killing mages in the streets. Perhaps he would've done it at the end of DA:O and beginning of DA2 but not now. Not now that he's made such headway.

Ohh, that makes me really happy =) have no way of going to these things so it's great to be able to watch them instead of just reading a summary.
