If the rumors are true and the game allows us to renovate our base of operations (castle), it wouldn't surprise me if the Collector's Edition had some exclusive in-game items for it.

But I think that the blinking "INQUISITOR HEADQUARTERS" neon sign may be pushing it a tad.

I have a strong feeling the dragon motif on the sword/helmet isn't just random decoration. Everything I learned in Graphic Design is screaming there is something more to that, so I will be honestly surprised if the PC doesn't have something to do with dragons/if dragons aren't very important to the PC somehow. I think those tags are pointing towards that too...

Well I sort of hope something is going on with dragons (not just killing them )
But I think the whole dragon blood thingie is going to come back ...
I'm not sure our pc is going to have dragon blood because sadly it's a bit too much like Skyrim.:s

And I hope we're going to see more female Inquisitor , they look badass.

Yeah, I think you guys could be right. It follows also with the whole "bring back the time of dragons. before the Veil" gibberish that Yavana was spouting in the comics. WHICH...

*ding*ding*ding* Gah, I finally finally realize why the wild dragon in the desert pic seems really familiar to me. I read this series of books once upon a time where the royal house that lived in the desert routinely slaughtered dragons as menaces. They later discover there's something important about the dragons so put a stop to all the dragon killing while also trying to keep that important use a secret. What if the Inquisitor ends up discovering some 'master plan'-type importance of the dragons, too?

Well if you believe Yavana dragons are somehow vital for Thedas.
To be honest the comics brought more questions than answers ...
But we know that someone looking like Flemeth probably started the blood dragon in human business...and generations later her daughter use the human/dragon blood to wake dragons up.(and by the way , why the hell some high dragons are asleep ? I mean Old god ok they are sort of cursed I guess but what about the rest?...
Did they went to sleep because they were hunted everywhere and couldn't survive?)

Anyway I 'm all over the place and this has not much to do with Inquisition ..
But I'm really excited about some new dragon lore , and yeah I hope the dragon slayer past of the Pentaghast will be explored.
Thought I hope we won't have to slaughter every dragon ...I mean dragons are cool , and I have a soft spot for friendly dragons in general .
But David Gaider said on his twitter that dragons aren't sentient , just really cunning.Oh well...
There's also the whole shapeshifting thing with Flemeth .

The lore in DA just drives me crazy ...

Even if dragons are simply mystical animals in the DA lore, I would hope we don't have to kill them all/they're not portrayed as inherintly evil animals. That would feel like saying 'sharks are dangerous! Kill all the sharks!' >:

Agree. Ah, I hadn't heard that about dragons definitely not being sentient. Interesting! I mean... how the Old Gods fit into that is anyone's guess... since presumably, if they're actually dragons, they would be sentient... But maybe that's still not the same thing. *sigh* confusing.

Reznore, you wouldn't happen to have a link handy for that tweet from DG, would you? Curious!

Start at the beginning and work your way through, they're not going to make an awful lot of sense if you pick one up at random. They're not dear and you can get them on Dark Horse for your PC/devices. The first is the Silent Grove (and I think it's the best of the series by a fairly considerable margin.).

How was gamescon?

It was also mentioned that if you're in an area and you decide to go into a tavern, you willl have no loading screen. The whole area is open, but if you want to move onto another area you go to your map and travel there. How you travel there wasn't mentioned, so i guess fast travel.

Also the game sounds huge! It was said that a medium sized level in DA:I is bigger than all the DA2 levels combined.

That's about all new stuff I found out, the other things they talked about was already covered.

How was gamescon?

It was great, lots of stuff. I do have a cold though so it was not as fun as it could have been .. and I was alone . I went there only to go to the BioWare Q&A and then went back to the hotel.

The World of Thedas is an encyclopedia, not a comic. It's a great read and invaluable to any true lover of DA lore, but it doesn't contain anything you won't find on the wiki. If you can fit it into your budget, it's good to have, especially for keeping track of dates and random pieces of trivia, but you don't really need it to be well informed. Although it does thave art, so that may be worth the price of the book by itself, depending on your point of view.

This is looking more and more like I'm going to have to save up for an XB1. I imagine the 360 wouldn't be able to handle such a thing, and would have to have the loading screen. Only thing is, what about my imports? I kind of want to be able to iport my DA2 playthroughs.
