If you zoom in on the face of the person on the throne in that concept art, it shows a female Qunari, making me wonder if we might get to play as a Qunari...?

A female Qunari? It looked like a blonde female with her hair in a bun, wearing the Inquisitor head piece to me.

 I'm playing through Witch Hunt, and as I am looking through the History section attempting  to translate the elven artifacts book I came across a tomb called Of Hammers and Witches: A History. It says:

"Faded depictions of men in robes tremble before figures bearing an ominous symbol of a black eye in a sunburst."

At first I thought of this:



But then I saw another picture:



The eye is far more black here.

I love foreshadowing.

Yeah, most folks think that's a ref to some witch torturing book ... who's name I can't immediately recall (edit: The Malleus Maleficarum). But, I've always thought it was a ref to the Inquisition.

There's also a reference to the Seekers in another book.

"The Holy Office of the Seekers
This heavy book is firmly locked with a Chantry seal. Scorch marks suggest someone tried opening this book to no avail. The illusive Seekers guard their secrets well."

There are two pics of people in the ceiling that I can see. One is the pic from the cover of Masked Empire, presumably Celene. The other is actually old concept art of Meredith, presumably repurposed as a more generic warrior/templar woman(?).

Yeah, that's what it looks like to me, too. In fact, she almost looks like she's wearing a half-mask to me.

Allo everyone! Haven't really been in the thread much this last week, and look, we are almost already at page 2500!

edit: so for the concept art we have been  seeing, are those up to date? Such as, the characteres we see in it are in the game?

Well, even if it is an "average" pride demon, pretty sure I died a hundred and forty five times during the pride demon and shade fight in Da2.

LOL Yeah, I suppose pride demons are supposed to be the biggest, meanest, toughest of all the demons in the lore, but they never felt like the hardest baddie I had to fight. I'm hoping they have some like the one from DotS, which took like a legion of templars and mages to defeat (which of course means I'll probably be cursing that fight and switching to casual! LOL ).

Naw, all we know is it's concept art, which is playing around with concepts. One of the devs (MLaw?) was very specific about pointing that out. So many of these characters are presumably placeholders or early designs or have been removed altogether. Who knows!
