Usually what I did to keep most of my companions happy in DAO and DA2 was that I didn't take them on cetratin missions that I knew it would upset them could be the same case here if I want "everyone" to like my PC

Yeah, that's what meta-gaming is. And it sounds like we won't be able to do that anymore without the other companions finding out about those actions.

Ha ha ha! Nice:

WOW... this is real? They showed this? Am I being trolled?

It looks just like the footage Chantirose reported seeing at Gamescon, so seems legit. I haven't seen a highres version yet, though I've haven't really searched.

This... is amazing. The nug scratching... my cats scratch in that very same motion. Then the stretching the wyvern did... the way the paws flexed outward. Also like my cats. They studied real animals very intensely. It's amazing!!!!!!

I know. It looks stunning... and probably nothing like it'll look on my pathetic PC. LOL

Hmmm.. well that kinda sux a little bit,  I dont want ALL the companions to like my character  I just want the ones that I care about to like my  character, depending on what actions I might take im kind of afraid  that the ones i care about will leave my characters side, based on how dificult the decisions will be and what I will choose.
I mean i can understand taking away the gift thing, that I agree,  it was way too easy  to get someone's approval.

Personally I kind of like how DA2 hadeled the situation  wasnt so many gifts and wasnt too much of a pain in the arse  to gain your companins trust.

Now im not saying  I want everything easy but I dont want it to be too much of a pain to deal with like being afraid to make a decision because your companion might not like the outcome or whatever  idk... I guess we will see how it will turn out.

I like the sound of this, it sounds like certain key interactions and conversations will be event based, so it'll be spaced out better than it was in DA:O, but at the same time we won't be lock out of the main interactions/info from that character, regardless of whether you like them, hate them, or whatever.

However, it does sound like it's gonna be impossible to keep everyone happy, so I guess that's our meta-gaming out of the window, LOL! Man, this game sounds like it's going to be so complex.

Gosh, I also don't know what this means. I did like that I didn't have to worry about pissing off my companions in DA2 and they'd still like me, even if we disagreed. Replaying DA:O, I find I miss that as I kiss everyone's butt.

This is kinda nice. At least we have a citation now for not having past LIs be LIs again.

What about you guys? How would both you and your Warden/Hawke feel if the
Inquisitor started to make moves on their significant others?

I'm apt to do many things with the story that some players might not like, but putting their PC in a situation where they're forced into cognitive dissonance-- such as having them romance someone who, in their timeline, is supposed to be connected to a previous PC... no, even I have my limits. I also meta-gamed... had to, if I wanted to friendship romance Fenris. I mean his rival-mance is just not to my taste. He seems so angry and unhappy. Hopefully they will also tweak the friendship/rivalry system because I could never fathom entering into a deep and meaningful relationship with one's... rival. I'm not overly fond of my real life rivals. Certainly don't want to become deeply romantically attached to them.

Hiya Guys,

I just filled in the forms for beta testing and now I'm completely paranoid that I left out something important in the fields. You know like your name! I can't imagine that they'd pick me but I'd at least like to fill the damn form in correctly. I should have checked it and I got submit button happy.....why!

Intriguing:

Aaryn Flynn: "Glad people are happy with the Dragon Age Keep. I hope you find it a beautiful & elegant way to interact with story."

LOL You know... I'll bet you're fine, either way. Origin owns our souls and you had to log in with your account. So, even if you missed something, they probably know who you are. :P (perhaps not as comforting as I'd intended... )
