Ooh I get it. Pax has two theatres the main theatre and the Kraken theatre. That's why there's two Pax twitch accounts. Pax 2 is for the Kraken theatre, and Pax is for the main theatre.ag99 wrote...

Presumably a conversation is "gated" by some condition that needs to be met in order for the conversation to occur. It seems that some companion content was "gated" by a certain approval, so a companion would have to like you enough to talk about some topic. The example of Alistair telling you he's a prince I think happens no matter what, right at that spot in the plot. So presumably that's something gated by the plot. Sounds like the latter case is what they'll do more of in DA:I?Chanda wrote...
What does DG mean by the conversations were gated, and how does it pertain to Inquisition?
In DAO, Alistair doesn't tell you about being a bastard son of the king until right before you head into Redcliffe. I view that as being a "gated" conversation.
In DA2, you had a conversation with your companions once or twice every Act. Unless you were doing their personal quest, and as DG said, I viewed that as a quest, not as companion interaction.
So which style pertains to Inquisition? I hope to heck that I can talk to my companions about stuff long before we get to the middle of the game, and don't have to wait to talk some more until the end of the game before the big battle.
