Don't take it entirely as gospel, she wrote that all down on the fly, so it may not be completely accurate.

Good point... I also got worried when she said not all LIs can be bisexual. Not sure if that's still an ME thing or if it includes DA. So, hoping for the best.

Allan clarified that slightly in the twitter thread... to say that they haven't confirmed any of those details yet.

Oh crap... that is worrying. DG had made it seem like all bi was set in stone a few months ago. Perhaps that was before the extended development time though. I shall keep my fingers crossed that my ideal LI won't be only available to one gender *sighs*

Well, if you read my post carefully, you'll notice I came down on both sides ^_^ I agree it's not right to bash a company on its own website. But it was probably also easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment and kind of gang up on someone. I've been ganged up on before here at the BSN and it makes you want to cry your eyes out lol

I think it was more like the Inquisitor was the pimp... he was collecting hotties for his little... whatever it is he was doing lol My dream didn't specify, probably because I don't know the plot of DAI yet

It did come across a little as a snippy gang up. I've been in a lot of situations where I've been Internet bullied and it's never clear and mostly misunderstandings. I have really liked this thread here on the BSN because I have felt safe posting here. I think you're all very nice people. :-)

What I find most curious is Allan's comment that Patrick Weekes's was surprised by some of the comments. I mean... every third of fourth thread around here is on that topic, to the point where it I thought everything that could be said, had been said.

Well, a lot of it gets lost in derogatory posts and flame wars in which I'm sure they just want to stay out of and squash w/out weeding through to the good points.

I had the same thought!!  And Allan saying that they heard what some of the fans had to say on the topic... um, hello! Do you guys even read the BSN?! It's a very hot topic, and very personal to people, on both sides.

Patrick Weekes works on ME3 though, and he was in favor of the gay, straight, bi characters. Him being surprised could be someone challenging his notion of tying sexuality to identity. Who knows. Wish I were there!

I guess it's hard to tell without seeing/hearing it for ourselves. I'm sure they'll clear it all up though.

I just saw a panel recording where Jessica Merizan says that this is part of her job, to weed out info from different forums and present it to the team. (I would not read the forums as a dev... )

Truth! :wizard: I'll wager we know more than most BSNers, and definitely more than your average fan

Yes I watched that video, too, about Jessica and her job (the one with DG), such a great panel.

Ohh yeah, I think it was. Yes. For some reason, I watch all four videos. I really enjoyed that chat they had. They are both engaging people.

Agreed. I come to this thread because my opinion feels respected even if we don't always agree. Its full of nice people, who respect each others opinions and give credit where credits due, ect. Everyone here is intelligent and talented in their own way. Its also the best place to be when news is being announced because everyone is so quick to snag it and share with the rest of us.

I agree with R2 though, we are not entitled to news. People who pay for those tickets to PAX should get the news first and Im ok with waiting. But I think ag99 just chose the wrong word to use, I think she was just venting. I still would like to hear what ag99 has to say on this thread, just like I like to hear what everyone has to say.

.....Are we forgetting something? Everything was Cullen and nothing hurt. Lol

I started watching it, but caught sight of some of the ridiculous homophobic comments below and had to go cool off. I should know better!

Always

I was going through an old thread at an anime forum I used to post at; it was the Dragon Age thread at that forum. And this was way before I found the BSN. I tell you what, I just would not shut up about Cullen. I think the other girls were probably tired of hearing me mention him. "I wish Cullen had been romanceable in DA2." I must've said that 20 times. So I'm kind of amused to realize I was a Cullen fangirl before I even found this thread lol

If you have chrome, there's an extension called 'queit tube' that hides all the comments on each video for ya. I hate when I accidentally read horrible comments.

Google Chrome has a great app that lets you hide YT comments. I haven't read a YT comment in over a year ;)

The way I have stated my frustration may have come across as "demanding" even tho that wasn't exactly my intent.
And as for the "rude" part if you mean when I said that  "we are entitled to it"  perhaps that was a bad choice of words on my part.

All I was trying to say is that its  dissapoiting that we dont get to see the panel and I guess some of you are as well.  But you guys deal with it better then I do , I am  more of an impatient person  and way to excited about the game and want to know everythign about it.

I may express my self in a diffrent  weird crazy way then others do but everyone has their own personality ,
as I said before Im not very good with word  so alot of the times I may seem that im rude or ungratefull  or something like that .

I do appreciate the info that BW has given us so far  but you know how it is sometimes , some ppl keep wanting more I suppose im one of those crazy ppl.

When I read the tweet last night from Nerd Appropriate thats his only gonna do sound, for some reason that just made me mad and pretty much "explode" because I was expecting a video, but I suppose thats just goes to show you to not expect things that you dont know about.

I think everyone is just kinda tense at the moment.

In my case, I just feel very protective over the devs and the game, it's hard to see them getting bashed about how and when things are released etc. And then of course there's this thread, we have a pretty bad rep already, and I just worry that we'd attract more negative attention with the whole "entitlement" buzz word being thrown around. Not that Ag99 was doing anything more than just venting, but you know what trolls and haters can be like, they'll pick up and run with anything to make us look bad.
