Lol, we certainly have a lot to talk about now! Hell, I can't believe it's September already! I remember back in September-(ish) last year when that survey leak came out and we were all complaining that it was gonna take ages before we heard any real news!

No idea. I know they attended it last year, I can't recall if they showed us anything from it though.

Can't wait for next year.. lotsa good games coming out, though none I'm looking forward to as much as DA:I. Also, the further along the year gets, hopefully the closer we also get to hearing about the next ME game.

Well time flyes when you have fun speculating about NEW INFO , that said  after whats left of these conventions are done , we will be back   on the concept arts that were showned and videos till the  next season of conventions come, that or sprint review days

It'll be an easy year to get through since the next gen consoles come out this year, which means plenty of brand new games to tide us over until Fall 2014. Team that up with more DAI info coming out over the course of a year and all the publicity/promotion that comes with it and it'll be a cake-walk!

If it was early 2015 then that wouldn't be too bad. But, if they're gonna move it to 2015 then I'd rather not find out until closer to the current 2014 release date, lol.

I tryed to play some games like guitar hero , the dance game on kinnect but still cant stop thinking about dragon age still come to stalk the forums and see if there is anything new

Speak for yourself; I've got 20 dollars in my account right now!  Granted I get paid at midnight, but still, it's obvious to me that saving up for a next gen console is going to take a year at least, and god knows how much those games are going to cost!!!

Same here. Copious nerd tears. Enough to water their coffee for at least a month.. On the other hand, if even -more- time means even -more- good things for the game, that's okay. Just really hope that doesn't happen O_O.

Seriously. I'm not sure if my laptop will be able to handle DA:I, so I might have to save up for a new one. And that's going to be a huge wad of money that I don't have yet.

Dragon's Dogma has distracted me quite nicely since it has that CC on steroids, and the fighting is actually fun (shocking for me, who doesn't like fighting in RPGs lol).

Beyond Saints Row 4, nothing much has interested me that's been released recently, but it's bound to be slow currently due to the next gen consoles coming out soon.

We've been saving for months for a PS4.. and we gotta get 2 of them! Not sure what next-gen games will cost, though. I figured they'd be the same as they are now?

Dragon's Dogma also distracted me.. And then I was obsessed with replaying Baldur's Gate for a while, and as many mods as I could get for it. That distracted me for a month. Then I get on here and discover I have over 500 pages to catch up on. O_O That took a few days. Such an influx of information!

I knew it'd pay to disappear for a bit. Doubt we'll get such a bombardment as that was for another while, though.

Now it's time for some new distractions.

Is it for PC too or just consoles?  When it comes to RPG's i like to play them on pc, since im not very used with a console controler I always end up dying somehow lol, I played God of war on a console and  that kinda sucked for  me since im more use to a mouse and keybored , playing on a console to me felt like rubbing nipples the whole time lol

I would've disappeared to, but then I started doing YT videos covering all the DAI news and now I have to stick around to gather it all up, lol.

It's weird, during the past year and a bit sometimes the wait was almost unbearable, and other times it was easy.

In my case, the wait for DAI always became the most unbearable whenever we had a particularly interesting debate/conversation about Cullen, lol. I think it's because it would often inspire me to make a fan video, or pester R2 to write a fanfic about an idea I had for him, etc.

Anyhoo, yeah, MLaw said we'd most likely hear about the rest of the companions next year. DG has also said that, yes, they have known who the companions are for a while.

In the interview, when he mentioned Cullen's history, he was speaking about having been disappointed (to use a lighter word) in the Circle in Ferelden and then again in Kirkwall. He was saying something about Cullen's storyarch worth for the next Dragon Age (not in these exact words, obviously).

But even if  (and that's a big personal if for me) the interview had been THAT old- traces of it should be locatable.

Are you getting it confused with the one DG done where he spoke about what Cullen's story arc represented?

Hmm, that's sorta what it sounds like to me. If you check out my blog here, The Case for Cullen In DA3, it summarizes everything we've been able to scrounge up about Cullen being in the game, through Jan 2013 ( I'm about to update it). It includes links to two DG interviews where he talks about Cullen, in particular, these comments sound a lot like the Thedas UK one. (and if it really is a Greg Ellis convo, I hope you find it!!  squee!!)

This year passed by extraordinarily fast. It was: *blink*...*looks around* September? But it was just Christmas!!!" Of course next year will go all SLOW because I'll be waiting for DAI. No other game has caught my interest. I'm going to try to make a Sith Lord costume for the next Dragon*Con and possibly build a gaming computer in the meantime.

So long as they release a steady flow of info throughout the course of next year then it should go by equally as fast as this year, if not faster since we had a huge info draught for the majority of it, lol. I guess, if anything, it might be slow for the first few months, until late April.
