I actually kinda love the idea of Cole being like a little kid, if he's anything like the way DG portrayed him in his little blurb for that picture then I think his banter with the other characters will be highly entertaining!
He is really cute as a kid, but I was seriously hoping for him as a LI in the absence of Cullen :innocent: I guess I'll have to start thinking about GW or IB? Hot older mentor type for my dear inquisitor? Hmm, okay.
IB? Which one is that?

Yeah, I know... I should probably start culling some out... If we could edit the original post, I could just add the new ones instead of reposting all. Ah well. Maybe when we hit 3000 I'll just refer back to page 2500 for the first half or so.LolaLei wrote...

Now, I actually think there could be some degree of truth to this, partly due to the mention of "red Templars", those fist statues from the trailer and the gold keys statue shown on the war room table in the demo (obscure, I know), BUT also because of the way the 3 organisations (Gold Keys/Purple Crows/Red Fists... crap names, hopefully just placeholders) are described and how our Inquisitor will regular go to them for advice. According to the leak Leliana is the head of the Purple Crows. The Gold Keys are described as being political, and who do we know has settled herself nicely into Empress' court? Morrigan! We also know from the devs that we will be interacting with Morrigan frequently throughout the game AND that she is an important npc, so it's possible that her role could be as an adviser to the Inquisitor, along with story arc (whatever that may be). Which leaves us with the Red Fists, an organisation described as taking a more militant approach... Who else do we know that takes a militant approach and has spent his life within a very militant organisation prior to the rebellion? Cullen!
I'm willing to bet you guys any money that IF this leak is legit, and IF Cullen isn't a companion/LI then he'll be the head of the Red Fists. And you know what? I'm totally cool with that because if he's advising us then at least we'll get plenty of opportunities to talk to him... and perv at him, which is better than what we've got from him in the previous games!

Also, in the demo you can pick from 3 different designs/decor for your outposts. Something more political (Gold Keys), something more militant (Red Fists), or something more espoinage-esc. Now, who's into espoinage? Leliana! And thus, the third outpost design/decor represents the Purple Crows.
... The more I look into this, the more I'm convinced that this leak could actually be legit.

*gasp* There was another leak!?! Must...not...look...ah who are we kidding, I looked at it five minutes ago. Very good theories Lola, and definitely not something I saw coming as far as having advisors. Makes sense though, explaining how Morrigan will play a large role w/out being a companion. I'm gonna look back at the pages I missed these past few days to see where this leak came from.
It was from the main forum, so I dunno how far back it'll be.
The advisors certainly make sense, especially now that we know that our agents are just nameless npcs and assets, not important characters like we originally thought.

"Omg, he half-grinned at my Inquisitor!" *Squee*
LOL, here's hoping we can at least head swap the companions, that way we could put Cullen's head on the GW, or whoever is romanceable and pretend he was really a companion/LI... desperate times, man!

Sooooo, I'd like to talk about that recent possible "leak" again. Now, I can't find the original thread because I'm typing this up on my iPhone, but it was originally posted back in February (before we knew anything official about the game) in The Witcher forums of all places. Anyway, here's the screenshots for reference:

Hmm... I see two problems with this theory. First of all, would the templar opposing the Red Templars call his "gang" the Red Fist? If you're in opposition you usually try to downplay your similarities, not add to them. Also, Cullen in the concept art (map stabbing scene) is wearing the same purple garment as Leliana.
Do we know what the source of the leak is? What was leaked, so to say? Was it a piece of the script, notes from a sprint review, concept art?

You could also put Iron Bull in the position of Cullen. In the survey it says that he leads his own mercanry group and who would be more militant than the Qunari?

I don't believe we know *anything* about the source of that leak, besides it popped up on The Witcher forums.
Ah, thanks! Sounds pretty neat if we do have advisors giving us options as to how we solve things, I hope that part's legitimate. Although, going back to the clothing worn by Cullen and Leli in that picture, why would Cullen be a Purple Crow I wonder..? "Sneaky" isn't how I picture him at all (oh, that almost calls for a fanfic).

That.... could work, I think. I wonder why Qunari would bother with helping the Inquisition, but that question remains regardless of what his role is.

One reason I could see for Iron Bull to join is purely because he is a mercenary and is getting paid for it, kinda like Zaeed in ME2. He doesn't care about the cause, just about the pay.

Yeah, that makes sense. I wonder where we get the money..? We enlist these factions, have agents, run excavations and so on..
