I'm trying to find the gameplay picture of the older grey warden. Does anyone recall if he was carrying his shield in that? Or what kind of weapon he had? In the concept arts he was sword and shield, but I'm wondering if that carried over to the gameplay.

He had a spiky shield and a sword.

Yeah, there are a lot of questions marks there. For ex, the leak survey says Cole is a rogue, not a mage. But... regardless, it's damn funny!

I'm leaning towards Cole not being in the game now... in that snippet DG wrote that I posted, Cole still turns invisible, and Cass doesn't remember who he is. It seems like Cole's traits aren't being changed for the game to make him more game-able (lol)... i.e. not disappearing randomly. But then again maybe this is just DG being sneaky... or maybe... or... I don't know lol

That's just it... there's no real reason to think any of that. All we know is there's flaily hands, there's Chill elf dude, each of whom could or could not be Dorian or another mage or trident guy or some "elven ambassador" or someone else and every one uses a different name for each... That's why the 'count the companions' game annoys me. But... representing Cole as a ghost is hilarious...

Does anybody else remember a "leak" by one of the 4chan crew before DA2 came out? In it, they claimed that Flemeth was involved and there was an invasion of the Black City? My memory is terrible, but I vaguely remember something about a Veil tear. The devs were quick to jump in and say "This is a complete fabrication and undiluted BS," but now I'm wondering how much of it had to do with DAI. Not that it matters. I never remember any details properly, and even if I did, a lot would have changed since 2009. Plus, consider the source. 4chan? Really?

1) Everything revealed has matched the leak.
2) The last time I said that, the ME3 endings happened anyways.

Soooo...I'll just go sit in a corner with my popcorn and act surprised when necessary. XD

I'd kind of like for Chill to be the mage because we've never had a male elven mage, and I'd kind of like Flail to be a rogue because we've never had a male human rogue (plus, he looks totally capable of buckling swash, which is a big win in my book). But reverse them, and I'd still be cool with it. I'm easy.

Edit: Well, Sebastian was a male human rogue, but he was a little too priestly to make him feel truly roguish. I'd kind of like a Saemon Havarian-esque guy with negotiable morals.

Oh gosh, I don't remember that. It would be interesting however, given that they say they've had the idea for DA:I since DA:O.

LOL Agree. I would LOVE for Chill to be Dorian. And, Flaily Hands does have a swashy buckly feel with that sassy, pointy chin beard. Time will tell.

Most of that "count companion" stuff its just speculation anyways, as we know nothing about who we actually gonna get or what role they will play at the end, we might see diffrent ppl here and there but some of them can be confused with the Inquisitor as well , like that one pic with that red headed female dwarf  at 1st some ppl thought she was a companion or Leliana or Aveline and so forth  alot of the times concept art can be misleading untill we have "hard evidence" of it being in the actual game, to get a "better" understanding of who and what they might be. But yea that one pic was pretty funny , was it taken from the ghost busters or something? lol  Personally  the pic meanie posted a few pages back made me laugh harder the  "the invisible guy in the suit " lol

It would be interesting, but I wouldn't put money on it. He was the victim of reduced character development due to his status as a DLC companion. Had he been as fleshed out as the other DA2 companions, he would have inspired more sympathy, and he would have enjoyed more popularity. Never mind that DAI would be an opportunity to show that side of him. Many players will always think of him as being bland, indecisive, and hyper-religious and they'll protest his return regardless of what the developers would like to do with him going forward. In other words, that ship may already have sailed.

Wow, trying to follow the discussion about the source of the leak is very much like watching Inception while being drunk off your ass..  On that note I'll agree with Ag, we'll just have to wait and see.

The Twisted Knickers, LOL! Although, that infamous Gaider comment makes me think that would be the name of our faction if we had one in the game.  Our advise would always be the same too; You can always decide tomorrow. Sleep on it for now. With Cullen.
