Curious question: I recently finished re-reading Dragon Age: Asunder. I read it mostly to see where exactly I can fit Cullen in before and during the conclave (for that story I am super behind on posting, sorry!) but was surprised on stuff I picked up that I didn't notice the first time I read it.

One thing sticks out though, and forgive me if this has already been talked about, but how is Seeker Lambert able to sense Cole that day in Evangeline's room? Do Seekers have some power that Templars don't have? Was this covered in DOTS (I haven't seen the movie yet) or at some other time?

It might of been one of those things where you just feel like someone is watching you? That being said, both Templars and Seekers are supposed to be able to sense demons and blood magic (except Cullen, because he's rubbish. Bless him!) So maybe Lambert was picking up on whatever Cole is, but not enough to pin point him precisely.

Apparently Evangeline and every other Templar in the entire circle is rubbish as well because no one else sensed him except Lambert. Perhaps its because he came from the Tevinter Imperium and that helps him sense it better because that's a common occurrence there? Although, throughout the book Cole and I think Rhys commented or mentioned Lambert's ability to sense him several times as a power outside of what Templars have. Something stronger. I don't know.

I was thinking red lyruim! DUN DUN DUN. Lol, no I'm kidding, I have no idea. *Shrug*

So I finally broke down and bought Dragon's Dogma, because frankly I'm getting tired of replaying DA2 and ME3, lol. I can get lost in that game, I was surprised that I spent 6 hours on it the other day . But as fun as that game is, I'm so spoiled by BioWare, I can't help but keep comparing it to their games. The companions, the interactions, the story ... honestly I don't even know what the story is, I only know that damn red dragon eat my heart and then some guy jumped out of a portal and is now following me ... Also the game doesn't look that great (on Xbox that is) I even installed the HD pack, it still doesn't look good and people complained about DA2 graphics. I'm also lost all the time and utterly confused on what to do next in a quest. On the plus side though, I love the CC, my character is gorgeous, heh.

The last game I was able to play without comparison was "Last of Us" and "Tomb Raider", beautiful games and I was in love with the characters. I was so sucked in by those games that I didn't even think about what was missing or not.

Anyway, DA:I can't come out soon enough, I'm going through BioWare withdrawal here!

Jupp, same here

Luckily it's been long enough since I last did a replay of ME3 so that is what I'm currently doing. After that I am really not sure with to do for gaming. Like you said, I've been spoilt by my BioWare games so when there are no companion interactions, story and female PC I quickly loose interest. I need my BioWare-fix.

I really don't like it when I can't play a female. That is probably the reason why I can't get in to the Witcher games. I played Witcher 2, but I have no desire to pick it up to replay it and go the other path. It didn't really bother me with Last of Us, because I loved Joel and you had Ellie joining you, but Geralt just .... I don't like him, but I can't explain what it is.

Dragon's Dogma is... very weird, the story will make sense, eventually. It's lacking though, majorly.

Deadly Premonition is a good one for characters. It's another weird game and the graphics are sh!te, but my god I am completely in love with the protagonist. The game is kinda like Twin Peaks, meets Silent Hill, meets GTA: Suburbia.

Such a bizarre game, but I utterly adore it!

Omg that game looks scary, lol. I don't know ... I'm alone at home for the next 2 more months and I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to those psychological horror games. I watched some episode of Cold Case yesterday before going to bed, it had something to do with a woman thinking her house was haunted and then she ended up dead. Well ... I couldn't sleep after that, I had to watch some silly cartoon to get my mind of it. Pathetic I know, lol :P But I'll look into it when hubby comes back home, the plot sound interesting. And looking at the wiki description says it compares to twin peaks as well, heh.

Deadly Premonition is very enjoyable. Don't think I'd enjoy it half as much if it weren't for the main character... and his coffee XD. I thought the trailer was misleading when it first came out, ended up being alot quirkier and funnier than they made it out to be. But I like it, think it really sets off the disturbing tone. Also makes me think of Silent Hill, and a little bit Silence of the Lambs. And other things. Sorta a mishmash of genres.

Dragon's Dogma, I keep finding articles speculating about a sequel. Hopefully if they do make it, they'll make better what the first lacked. I love that game. But accidental Simone romances will forever haunt me.

York/Zach is surprisingly charming... in an eccentric sort of way. I have a bit of a pixel crush on him!

Seeker powers have never been explained, except that Seekers typically were templars first. So presumably they have templar powers, but the Seeker codex suggests Seekers have bigger, badder abilities (which may just be a rumor...).

For Lambert, I guess I was thinking that he was just particularly sensitive, but I have no idea! Hopefully when we find out what Cole is we'll learn more.

Dragon's Dogma is awesome!!! I bought it several months ago and I'm still playing it. Did you get Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen? That's where all the cool equipment is, but you should probably wait until you beat the main game before trying Bitterblack Isle.

The CC is awesome, oh, and I play with the Japanese voices because I can't take the English voices seriously, yeah, really, they suck lol The romance is actually pretty easy if you pay attention to the "chime" sound that someone will sometimes get once you've talked to them a whoooole lot. Also avoid escort and "special" quests for characters unless you want to romance them. So far I've had no problem romancing the two guys I wanted to hook up with. The ending is pretty weird. And make sure you use the wiki because it can get confusing which quest to do next.

Oh yeah, it is fun. It's just frustrating at points, like when I'm in a fight kicking serious behind and then all of a sudden I get my butt kicked by what I assume to be a warrior and they don't take damage from my spells and i don't know why. Also the pawns not using their healing items, but I guess they have to "learn" that first.

What I thought was funny about the voices is that I picked voice number 1 for my pawn and apparently that's Troy Baker, lol .. according to the wiki at least, I don't really hear it.

I bought the game with the dark arisen included yes, but I'm not that far yet. I just made it to the capitol and right now I'm just taking care of my side quests. I haven't tried to romance anyone, haven't run into anyone I like yet. I did find out that Bandits do not like to get picked up hehe, had to reload because me picking some guy up made him attack me and I wanted to be buddies with the bandits, yeah.

I'm almost done with my third DA2 playthrough, and I have...*counts on fingers* four more to do. Well, minus one because I am saving it for the Keep to test out. I'm already tired of Dragon Age. I need something else...besides Dragon's Dogma, because I'm tired of that too. Guess I'll have to subscribe to GameFly in order to indulge in some other games. Bah. I hate it when a game you love becomes a chore.

Yeah, there are some really awesome indie games out there. You guys should also try The Longest Journey, and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. It's a point and click game by it's very story and character driven, and hilarious. I was gonna do an LP of the first game, but fraps has a problem with recording the cutscenes.

Yeah, I will be. I'm just feeling a little burnt out currently so I haven't made any more videos yet. I'm working on one behind the scenes, but it's taken me ages to find the 10th thing I needed for this top 10 video, lol.

Is it strange that I have 12 in-progress DA2 games going on at this moment? Four are almost through with Act 2, about to do All that Remains (the last quest before the Demands of the Qun), four are just beginning Act 2, and four are still doing the companion recruitment quests at the start of Act 1.

But yeah, I'm really getting tired of DA2. I'm kinda clicking through most of the convos unless I know it's something I've never heard before.

One of the Hawkes is something I've never tried. He's rivalling everyone. Gotta say, rivalling Varric is kinda disappointing. I kinda expected him to point out how much of a jerk Hawke is, but he never does.

Interesting.

"Conversations you can walk away from" is worrying. I'd rather have "Conversations you can *pause* so you can walk away from the game for 5 minutes without missing something important."

Wouldn't that just be ambient dialogue, if you can walk away from it?

My laptop is about to die, so playing games on it is not advisable. XD I was lucky The Cat Lady worked for as long as it did. Had to uninstall it because everything was slowing down, and it crashed like mad ESPECIALLY with Dragon Age: Origins...on the lowest settings, even! *facedesk*

Two of my Hawkes are still in Lothering. Two are in Act 1 in varrying places. I'm finally going to rival Isabela, be a friend to Merrill (without killing her clan because that's my Dalish import XD) and I'm busting my chesticles to make Carver like me. I'm really trying to shake things up, and aquire some final achievments. I have also created my first Man!Hawke ever - I am enjoying him a great deal.

And Varric is just a bro through-and-through. I like to think of Varric as an older brother or an uncle that Hawke desperately needs amidst all the crap going on. That's why he puts up with so much.

I literally can't bring myself to play through DA:O again. I've got 1 playthrough on it currently, I've done the circle tower (with mods) but I can't bring myself to play through it any further, LOL. DA2 I'm supposed to be doing a Cullen/Hawke playthrough so that I can record all the footage to make new fan videos, but it's a hard slog.

Now that I know we'll have a save creator for DAI, I'm not too bothered about trying to do ultimate saves for my PC version of the game, lol.

Yeah, I have 2 or 3 stalled games on DA:O, and I think one on DA2. I'm SOOO glad about the Keep. Not only can I just create my perfect save(s), I'm excited to see the ripple effect of those decisions. I have a feeling I'll sit and twitch knobs for hours!
