I literally can't bring myself to play through DA:O again. I've got 1 playthrough on it currently, I've done the circle tower (with mods) but I can't bring myself to play through it any further, LOL. DA2 I'm supposed to be doing a Cullen/Hawke playthrough so that I can record all the footage to make new fan videos, but it's a hard slog.
Now that I know we'll have a save creator for DAI, I'm not too bothered about trying to do ultimate saves for my PC version of the game, lol.
Yeah, I have 2 or 3 stalled games on DA:O, and I think one on DA2. I'm SOOO glad about the Keep. Not only can I just create my perfect save(s), I'm excited to see the ripple effect of those decisions. I have a feeling I'll sit and twitch knobs for hours!
My mind went to a very naughty place.
*ahem* But yes, I'm very close to saying "**** it" and wait for the Keep to come out so I can adjust the PTs as I like.

Yeah, I don't know whether I'll finish any of my 6-7 stalled DAO games. The thing about DA2 is that I can fire it up for 10 minutes, do a quest, and then not touch it until the next time I've got 10 minutes to spare. I can't do that with DAO because the quests are so much longer. People sneer at the idea of playing a game in anything less than hours-long gaming sessions, but that isn't life. I don't have kids, but I do work 9-12 hours a day and spend another 3 hours each and every day commuting. And there's family, housework (cooking, cleaning, and laundry must still be done, even if it's for 2), fanfic... and the mods I've promised to finish this lifetime.R2s Muse wrote...

So yay for games that allow players to play in "snack mode"!
That was a term I found in a 10-minute mystery book, whodunnits for people who don't have hours to devote to reading. The premise was that sitting down and immersing yourself in a book for an evening is a banquet for the mind, but often times, readers would be happy with a snack. Something to do while waiting for a bus or during that gap between the washer and dryer cycles.
Epic games are great, but I like it when they can be reduced to smaller chunks.

You don't like story mode? I'm hoping and praying DA:I will get one!
I'm also burnt out on games, DA included, but that's fine since I'm too busy for joy and happiness during the semester. Also I'm sick, which is why I haven't been around.

I feel like if there were anything truly important from the PAX panels it would've been leaked by now (like playable qunari).

Uh-oh, do you have the flu, too? It hit me like a truck Thursday night. I'm still weak and groggy. Haven't felt like doing anything. I had to go to school today to take a test, though I called in to work. I want to learn about new tidbits of Inquisition info, but I can't really bring myself to listen to the PAX panels, they're so long... And like someone else said, I'm more of a visual learner than a listening learner.
Yeah, I feel much the same. I've listened to and taken notes for the Crafting & Customisation panel, but currently I can't be arsed to sit through all the rest. I prefer to see what's being talked about, rather than working off just audio, but I'll have to do it because I got this fecking PAX video to do.

Ugh, is that what's going around? I've been half-dead, coughing, and feverish since Friday, but I thought it was just really bad allergies (and age-related hormone fluctuations). But if all of you have the same symptoms...PhantomGinger wrote...
I just got over what y'all may be talking about. Took about two weeks. First week I was miserable - I was clogged, tired, and broke out in more cold sweats than a woman during menopause. The second week was spent getting over the first week. It was the best excuse to drink a bunch of warmed brandy and mead to sooth my throat. XD
Sounds like a good reason to go home and go to bed.

I've been feeling very drained and tired recently, and my migraines have been pretty bad. I wonder if the weather change is making everyone ill?

The governments are spraying the atmosphere with germs at night so that we go out an buy cold meds early this year. It feeds the economy.LolaLei wrote...

Negative, cause it's still 90 degrees (32C) here; same it's been all summer
Maybe that's why this thread is so dead; we're all deathly ill

We've been spreading internet bugs between us all, then!
Maybe all the DAI news has worn us all out? Admittedly I do feel a bit burnt out with gaming in general.

Oh, so the flu really is a thing, this early in the season? (Do you live in the northern hemisphere?) It hit me Friday afternoon; I woke up that morning with a sore throat, but after my ten o'clock class, I went back to my office and suddenly became very dizzy and chilled. Then I was pretty ill all weekend. Finally feel slightly more alive today lol

Think I'm starting to catch something...yay
It's been 12 Celsious here now for a month...getting colder...not looking forward to the -45 celsious weather...

Ah yes, "blood magic". Forbidden magic taught by demons which uses the life force of the user and of others to empower their spells.
WE HAVE DISMISSED THAT CLAIM.
