From the Twitter thread, hornless qunari are a playable option (you can choose horns or no horns), and you can play as a Dalish mage.
Do you have the original link to the dev that said it?
Sorry, I was at school and posted that from my phone. Been busy since then! But Sister Goldring found the information, and a bunch more. I wonder if we're missing anything cool from any of the other podcasts?

15 There will be gender and race specific movements/animations.
Seeing they're doing motion cap and working with a mighty fine engine, I'm going to hope those hip movements look more natural this time around...
19 All the races will have content specific to that races role/place in Thedas society. I gather that this is to give the player more information about the culture they've chosen to be a part of.
Awww yeeeah! I was certain this would be the case, but nice to see it confirmed!
21. Players can be Qunari mages but NOT Saarebas.
So technically the mage Qunari is a Bas Saarebas.
23. They want the female Qunari model to look as intimidating as the male model so the visual emphasis is on athleticism in body type. This answer was given in response to a question about whether the fem Qunari would be given the standard fantasy female 'sexy' makeover.
Hell yes.
28. Racial abilities are being investigated.
I don't really care. I think the only time I used racial abilities in Skyrim is when I made my wood elf turn all the mammoths against their giant farmers. Best way to get a hellova lot of mammoth loot and giant loot at low level.
32. Horns for the Qunari PC will be optional and operate like hairstyles in the CC screen, they will probably not be commented on in the game.
Well, I know my Qunari is gonna be rocking horns~
38. The PC can be a Dalish Mage.
I wonder if that'll make the Dalish Inquisitor a Keeper's apprentice? That would be pretty sweet.
42. There will be opportunities for the PC to comment or give their reaction to their set protagonist background in the game. So you will have input into deciding your characters feelings about their past.
*kisses Bioware*
44. They want the prospect of becoming a blood Mage to feel threatening/dangerous the PC. They don't want it to be a specialisation unlocked with a button click. I'm taking this to mean cutting dark deals with demons is back in!
Allow one of my characters to turn to blood magic at an epic point of high emotion, and I might just play a blood mage. At least once...
47. The strict gender roles found in Qunari society will be something that the Qunari protagonist will be able to discuss in the game.
And they just keep giving me more and more motivation for my female Qunari Inquisitor!
Damn them, I can't wait. I want my Dragon Age nooooooow.

Omg, I can't believe I missed this one! I very recently had a debate with a guy about feminism (he eventually understood where I was coming from, thank the Maker), and to help myself stay calm I imagined head-butting him.
Dude: So, aren't women in your culture...religion...whatever...supposed to be shop-keepers? Oh hey, I bet you're great at making sandwiches! Make me one!
Qunari Lady: I'll make something for you. *headbutts him* A headache. *struts off*
It probably won't boil down to that, but the thought made me laugh. XD

Ok here's what I've got from the race NA panel recording. The times are approximate so if you go to that spot the info should be either right there or a little before or after. It's somewhere around that bit...trust me
(Gee I hate typing up notes on an iPad....could they have made it any more difficult deliberately!)
4.25 Races will have different backgrounds but not playable origins.

That's pretty much what I took away from the recording, there are other interesting snippets but these seem the most concrete.
Wow
Currently keeping myself busy in ME3 so that they wait won't feel as long. Hope we won't have to wait too long for the next news but guessing that it might be a while before we get as spoiled as we were during PAX. Oh well. Also have a sneaky suspicion that the Grey Warden guy is more likely to be a companion, which is great because I'm curious about the guy. But just have feeling that Cullen will be an NPC. Oh well, maybe you can have a Traynor-type of relationship with him. Think that worked very well even if she was not an companion, one of my favorite romances to be honest.

I've never used the wood elf ability for a mammoth brawl. Must try this now for lol's!
If an emotional high stakes split decision scenario like this plays out in game I will absolutely roll blood mage at least one time. Gah! What if there comes a scene where the only way to save your buddy / LI is with blood magic... would your PC do it? If no one would know? What if they left your party because of it?

Ooh, good points. I think it was the GI article on the party that said your party will somehow ... KNOW when you do stuff like that. So no more metagaming by leaving certain folks at home for certain quests... *gulp*meanieweenie wrote...

OH, and AVAST YE SCURVY KNAVES!(sort of pirate icon...)
I think we should use the Pimp Master C pic as our pirate-ish mascot for the day:

All he's missing is an eye patch and a big feather for his hat. Maybe one of those musketeer type twirly mustache/goatee combos.

I really, really want to see where Bioware is going to take us with Inquisition and I want to see how they blend DA2s strengths with DAOs and what they come with. I think I'll like it and I'm going to try like crazy to be OK with different because maybe different can be better!
Anyway, my fever rant is over! TLDR - meh probably don't bother.
Ha! I'm working on this myself, DA2 was SUCH a let down for me after having loved DA:O to bits, but after giving it a chance to stand on its own I now realize that I actually prefer it.
That must be such a drag for the dev's though, us fans being so conservative.
