We kind of talked about this earlier; I think the first companions we meet will be Cass and Varric after the Veil tear. They'll come to investigate and find us the only survivor or some such thing.

Hehehe "fans", I bet the poor sod gets pestered to buggery in his Alistair costume! I dated a vocalist/bassist of a semi-popular band down here once, his fans were... testing, to say the least!
I managed to snag a guy at work that all the other ladies had their eye on, by the time it ended I was ready to pull an Anders on that place.

I have to take my earlier statements about Dragon's Dogma back. The story picked up and I'm just in love with the game right now. I didn't know that your support pawns don't level up wth you, heh. By the time I found out I was level 25 and the other two were 6 ....
Cullen ... I don't know why but lately I feel positive that he might be a companion, don't ask me why. I also think it might be him in the concept art with the pride demon up front and the inquisitor in the back, I think Chanda pointed it out first. If Cullen is the tank than it makes sense for him to be up front. I know the Inquisitor is missing his red sash, but if you look closer at the front guy it seems like he has blondish hair, just like the guy in the war room pic. /Sigh, I'm pathetic, lol.

Honestly, I'm always so flattered and humbled to hear from anyone who likes what I've done with the costume, so it never gets to the point of it being a bother. Ever.
Jenn has indeed been really supportive, especially considering she's only played up until Ostagar in Origins and hasn't experienced how great Dragon Age is. We threw a Meredith costume together for her early last year in about four days(in spite of her not knowing who the character was), but she usually prefers being in plainclothes when I'm in my Alistair costume(Dragon*Con this year was a prime example of this).
Regardless, I'm not planning on leaving her for anyone else. Sorry.
ALSO! The podcast! I am in. Just keep me posted.

I've attended plenty of cons, meets and (since GameX started here) expos. Don't have a lot of bad experiences, though sadly yes I do have some. Way more positive ones though!

Story and characters are really flat. CC and fighting are awesome. I recommend giving it a chance, the price is right and it's good fun just creating new characters. Just make sure you get Dragons Dogma; Dark Arisen when you buy it (it includes the expansion for basically the same price and you'll need it if you want to swap pawns with others). There are ways to fast travel in the expansion as well.
