The DA team couldn't even understand why we were annoyed that no one pointed out that the DA:I protag could be female as well as male. Yes, um, that's kind of important! Sure, us hardcore fans know that, but what about other female fans out there? I was not always a DA fan. Maybe if they had marketed to me, I would have come into the fold sooner and not stumbled into it by chance!
Yeah, I know for sure they lost money from me due to not showing off FemShep. I felt sad that BioWare were stepping away from their RPG making where I could create my own character and decide what they wanted to do and think, only to create yet another shooter for dudebros.
Ended up trying the game at a friend's place just because I indeed have loved BioWare's games in the past, and hey as soon as I saw the character creation screen I knew I had misjudged the entire game. I could pick my class, gender, design my face and even decide my backstory. This was in many ways even deeper than KotOR and Baldur's Gate! But I didn't know that until I stumbled upon it and thus my ME1 copy was bought late and gave them almost no money.
And one is never alone with pretty much anything.

Cullen, are you shining again? We've talked about this. Not outside of my bedroom!
Seriously though, I really like the artwork. Gives off a nice sense of motion =) Evildoers beware, the Cull's out tonight!

Well I think you guys have reacted as every other fan of his/hers idol would, I mean im sure that if someone were to bash Morrigan's fans or Cass those ppl would react the same way, so I dont understand why we should be considered as the "crazy" ppl here
Dare I say it? I think much of it, not necessarily all but much of it, comes from how we're mostly all female. A man raises a passionate argument, a woman is frantic. A man is socially skilled, a woman is cackling. Etc etc.

Tbh, if Cullen was just romanceable and not a companion too then I think I'd be slightly offended. As if the "fan girls" only want to shag him.
That's not it at all, yes romancing him would be cool, but I'd want him as a companion role so that we could watch his story unfold and see how his experiences with the Inquisition and party members shapes him as a person.
Agreed. If I'd have to choose between having Cullen as a companion or an LI, I'd go with companion every time. I mean, I don't even like my fav DA2 character's romance (Isabela). It's not like not having a romance is necessarily a bad thing.
.... not that I'd mind a Cullen romance, don't get me wrong!
