She had no need to be in DA2, we didn't do anything to warrant her returning.
Tbh, I felt that Morrigan's story was pretty much done when they sent her through the mirror. If I was still playing as the Warden then it would be of interest to her to find out what became of her friend. However, my Inquisitor doesn't know Morrigan or have any emotional ties with her, so I kinda feel like the moments past, if you get what I mean?
I can see what you mean... but since Morrigan goes off into "another realm" or something - which I thought was the Fade - and Flemeth speaks of the world having wronged her and bodies being "limiting things"; I'm inclined to think they're not exactly human and that they are more involved in the underlying problems of Thedas - or involved in solving them, as the case may be. Morrigan says, in the trailer, that she's "seen more of this war than you can imagine". She and Flemeth have always given me this impression of being more interested in something grander and more sinister than the immediate threats faced by the Warden and Hawke. So with DA:I being about some kind of insidious evil behind everything that's going wrong, it feels more like what Morrigan was really "meant" to do is finally coming to pass. But that's me. *shrug*
