well, no worries, my first playthrough I was convinced I was flirting with him since our first convo at Ostagar!! Yup, Alistair was going to be MINE! LOLmotomotogirl wrote...

Naw, there's a sort of flirty-ish line at Flemeth's hut when the female Warden can say that her home is where-ever he is (or something like that, I dunno if a male Warden can say it too), but it's more of a touching bonding moment between them because they've both just lost everybody and have no one else but each other, so I don't really see it as flirting.
Hmm, I think this is the issue here. See, I played lots of male Wardens first (didn't necessarily complete the game that many times, but did start it A LOT). Then when I finally fired up a female Warden, I noticed that the dialogue with Alistair changed almost IMMEDIATELY. It's very different. So I was interpreting those differences as flirt opportunities.

I was completely oblivious, I didn't realise that I would be able to romance anyone but I knew that I'd end up fancying Alistair anyway lol.

Regarding differences of dialogues if we play male or female, is it true that some dialogues of Cullen change in DA2 whether we're F or M!Hawke ? or is it day dreaming from ladies who imagine the handsome templar being flirty with a F!Hawke ?

I didn't notice any differences. He definitely doesn't flirt with a female Hawke though.

I think it's really daydreaming, but then, I've not done the real experiment, having only one male playthrough. I think the real differences depend upon the dialogue options you choose. He's more of a hardliner d!ck when you're a hardliner.Mellora wrote...

I've never noticed any differences!! *taps chin*
Ah, here is a flirt with Alistair only available to female, and it's in Ostagar:
Alistair: "I get it. I get it. Just so you know, if the king ever asks me to put on a dress and dance the Remigold, I'm drawing the line. Darkspawn or no."[url=http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Alistair/Approval?action=edit§ion=25][smilie]data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIABAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAEALAAAAAABAAEAQAICTAEAOw%3D%3D[/smilie] Even if Alistair wasn't into him (that's fine). But then, I always pick #4 (#3 for a male) and pretend it's a flirt lol

Way to take a stand, Alistair.
I think I'd like to see that.
You have some odd ideas about the king.
I don't know. That could be a great distraction.
EDIT: Stupid formatting. Can't remember what I said. So... I'll just say I always pick #4 (#3 for a male) and pretend it's a flirt lol

I''ve played every mood (sarcastic Hawke being my favorite) and all I noticed is that he has, very often, this...attractive ... almost... whispering.. .. sweet... voice.R2s Muse wrote...

Even when you try to argue with him on his anti mage views, like in the conv after the Ennemies Among Us quest for example : when he states his anti-mages arguments, which are kind of violent to say the least, he still has that... attractive... almost whispering....voice *faint*
However I do agree that Cullen is absolutely not flirty. But Greg Ellis performance is undoubtedly appealing.

I found Cullen's voice in DA2 to be very diplomatic and professional, as it should be given that he was the Knight Captain. However, I did notice that his voice would slip back into boyish-ness when it came to topics like the "young ladies" in the blooming rose refusing to talk to him about his missing recruits, and a warmness when congratulating Hawke when he/she restored the Amell name/reminising about the Warden Amell. And then the fear in his voice when recalling the events of DA:O when he was tortured in that pink cage.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Cullen addresses the Inquisitor initally, and how his tone changes as he gets to know her/him better on a more friendly (and hopefully romantic) basis.

*Edit* I mean, gawd they've made Cassandra and Varric look enough like their DA2 counterparts so I'm sure they can do the same with Cullen.

I totally can't wait to see what kind of scars and skin texture characteristics they'll give him in DAI. I think it's safe to say that he'll definitely look a lot more battle hardened and less pretty boy, since the devs are bound to have given him a least one gnarly looking facial scar or burn since he's a warrior that's been dealing with volatile demons on a regular basis for years.
But what if the demons left him pretty so that he might tempt US....

So, does anyone already have any ideas for names they're thinking about calling their Inquisitor(s)?
