Haha, but you guys talk about anyone and anything. And I am sort of new. Was more of a lurker earlier on because the rest of BSN made you guys sound more insane than you actually are. But I've definitely never seen a discussion of that art on the regular DA:I forums. And I'm sure the Beardface romance would be great, but I sort of want him to be a Giles and more of a cool father figure.

Soooo, I finally got round to making another Cat Lady LP video on my channel. I've scheduled it to come out on Wednesday because I'm hoping to put out a Top 10 video tomorrow... then I suppose I should probably work on doing the DAI PAX roundup vid, lol.

Really? I've always found it to be comparatively normal and often positively informative! Also, fun in a good spirited kind of way. Certainly not more insane than your average fan thread I suppose you can't know without actually checking it out for yourself though.

Re; Beardface, I'd need to see his personality before I can decide if he's romance material.

Coming back to Beardy GW Dude, I'm curious to see how they represent him. If he looks like his original concept art, YES PLEASE!  He looks a little weirder in the actual gameplay footage, but the lighting and everything is rather peculiar in those. So even "Sera" looked weird.

It looks an awful lot like concept art Beardy GW Dude (from the tavern scene). He's somehow escaped execution, but it doesn't seem like a Duncan-like bloodless reprieve. All the Orlesian mask-wearing guards look dead. Around his neck it could be a griffon, as we've discussed before. Perhaps tearing it off symbolizes him leaving the GWs to join the Inquisitor.

edit: The tavern scene dude has the same gray stripes in his beard.

I 100% agree  (Also agree with the awesome part, thanks Lola ). What I meant was that people outside the thread are likely to call us insane and hysterical because we're mostly women. That's how people see women, especially female fans. They are wrong, of course.

I got some wild idea that Orlesian warden wanted to execute him (for whatever reason), which makes him like /scr*w the wardens. I even wonder if he could somehow have connections with our warden, cause if I remember correctly, the wardens that make Anders go mental after merging with Justice were Orlesian too, right? I guess my mind is flying off track wildly XD

He's a sexy beast of a man, no question. And if he's also a rebel and a freedom fighter type? Come to mama! (Especially if we're going to be fighting the GWs, makes sense that he would rebel from them if he's on our side.)

To me at least.

That sounds very plausible. Regarding the footage: I think it is a mix of bad lightning and pre-alpha build, which does not help in getting a clear view

When I think of the Grey Wardens in DA:I the one thing that always comes up is Corypheus. Because no matter who you choose to side with, is getting possessed by him. I'm thinking they making this canon, like they did with "Lair of the Shadow Broker" in ME and it happend no matter if you played the dlc or not. 

"Beardy Guy" might have been somewhere else at the time and then he was captured by orlais guards and put on trial for the actions of his superiors. Our Inquisitor comes in and rescues him, tells him what happened and he joins up.

The Grey Wardens always been a group that has that "The end justifies the means" attitude. So either Cory has them all under his spell or he promises them to do something that will end the blights? I mean Janeka was there to bind him to her, so that shows that they don't stop at anything. Maybe the First Warden even knew about it and agreed to the expedition to Vimmark Mountains to find Corypheus.

I was thinking for a long time that the GW have something to do with the Veil Rip, but then there is this survey leak bit that said it happens at a large chantry gathering and then that little detail that our inquisitor is the only survivor. So I'm not as sure as I was before.

Probably more Warden-Commander, seeing as the First Commander is not making the big decisions. But the last Warden Commander was our Hero of Ferelden, right? Who could be the new one?

I also think  his execution has been interrupted. He's dressed similarly to the other prisoner who has had his noose severed. Curiously the other three nooses remain whole, so I'm thinking he was released another way... like being untied, hands and neck, instead of being cut down.

I don't know that it's necessarily the Gray Wardens excuting him, tho. The dead dudes don't seem to be wearing GW garb. He could be considered a criminal for any number of reasons and the Inquisitor is conscripting with her higher authority, ala Duncan in DA:O.

It is curious, however, that this conscription would include bloodshed. That might argue against the execution interruption being strictly legal. Or perhaps it's early in the game and the Inquisitor is having a hard time getting folks to recognize her authority, so she's doing it the hard way.

If they're setting Beardy GW Dude as a mentor type figure, I kinda like the notion of him having some kind of dark past so he's not all jolly Santa Claus.

I surely hope the Corypheus thing comes back to haunt us. I could see the Order getting corrupted somehow with him at its head, leading to their organization being in a state of chaos and therefore also unfit to deal with the Veil rip.

Our Warden Commander was just for Ferelden, though. Each region has one, so presumably Orlais has one as well. I forgot where the GWs from Legacy were even from. Were they from the Free Marches?  Or Ferelden?
