Yeah, my City Elf pride ruined Male Hawke for me. Thank goodness for the Keep, or all my Hawkes would be female and that would be boring. (Planned my imports and I've got 4 male characters, if you include the Orlesian Warden, and 5 female characters.)

I had the same problem when he spoke certain (more suggestive) lines, as Vaughn was very crude, but I played my male as Diplomatic/Sarcastic, so I eventually was able to move past it.

Who is Vaughn, anyway?

In the City Elf Origin, he is the son of the Arl of Denerim, who busts up your wedding and captures you/your bride and rapes your cousin.

Oh my! And City Elf is my canon :o Only because I screwed up my first Dalish playthrough lol

I started w/ Dalish first, then switched to City. Did a whole lot of jumping around, but settled on Cousland for my first finished playthrough so I could marry Alistair lol. Seriously I made it to the Landsmeet w/ an elf, got to the part where it's an option, then found out you could marry him as a female noble and started all over

I tried, I really did, but no. I couldn't get past the Kirkwall gates. At least it lead me to experience the Merrill romance as a female Hawke, that was very sweet.

Ha, just realised I'd paired up my female Amell ultimate sacrifice import with Leliana. If Cullen has any interaction with Leliana, that could be very funny for me. "Ohhhh, THAT'S why I didn't get any!" Teehee!

"I'll enjoy taming/breaking (can't remember) you"

"Who's this, another lovely one to keep me company?"

"Ohhh, this one has spirit"

He's probably more suggestive when you play a female Warden as I did, but yea most of his lines he sounds very seductive...but in an evil pervy way.

Edit:  Skip to :20 sec mark

Vaughan? For me it's this one really rapey line he has when describing elven women, "So young and vulnerable" , and he puts so much emphasis on that first "l" in vulnerable. No, it's just awful, always stayed with me that line! To his credit as an actor, but it's so rapey.

I don't remember that, lol. I'll have to test it out at some point.

Oh! I remember that! Who'd have thought his VO would end up being our male Hawke!

I know! When they first announced that he was going to be the VA for male Hawke I'm thinking, "Well...his voice is nice...when it's not all rapey and creepy I guess"  He did a very good job for Hawke though, just hoping they choose better for the female Inquisitor. Some of her (female Hawke) inflections were just

Yeah, he is such a creep as Vaughn! Seriously giving me shivers with those rapelines... Kudu's for the VA though.

That's so funny. And I only associate that voice with my various Hawke's. He's so incredibly expressive; even when he says those painfully awkward sarcastic responses you just want to ruffle his hair, the big goober.

I felt FemHawke's VA was less successful, although I didn't dislike her performance. To me she only really works as diplomatic or aggressive. She can't seem to pull off sarcasm.

I think she sounded more completely socially inept/borderline sociopath than sarcastic. Not that I didn't like that. Found it quite endearing.

Yeah, sarcastic/funny made her sound like a total ****, lol. I like male sarcastic Hawke best because he's such a doof!

There's one line in particular that just makes me cringe, and that's when you first come across Cullen and Wilmod, and her aggresive respone is just  No emotion at all. Really all the options at that part are awful, but I think it might just have been a lack of direciton more than anything. Probably  something they added in after the fact w/ some random audio from before.

Oh, I didn't have that problem with Male Hawke, even though my main guy is a City Elf. Vaughan had a more arrogant tilt to his voice than even Aggressive Hawke, so I could differentiate.

Sadly, that cow from The Walking Dead probably got eaten by zombies. :(

Playing DA2 right now, is it dominant tone auto dialogue or a selecty one? Just wondering cos I've got a sarcastic Hawke who's about to do that quest.

Do the zombies eat the animals? I wonder if they come back as zombies too? Zombie birds would be bad news!

Yeah, that it pretty expressionless. Not even the face moves there though.

LOL that was a pretty awesome video :P

Thanks, I figured I should start getting back to making videos that aren't just The Cat Lady and DAI continuously, lol.

So in your video (which is great btw) you said you had a phobia of robots. Lol. I thought I was the only one on the planet that was afraid of robots!! Lol. Im also terrified of aliens. And yet...My two favorite characters from Mass Effect are Garrus and Legion. I don't get it. Lol

Yeah, Walking Dead zombies eat animals, though only humans come back as zombies. Still, this poses a problem because the survivors must compete with the zombies for food.

LOL, I think I know what it is about robots. If they're sentient then it's ok because they've become self aware, so they're alive which means if they want to kill you it's because it's self preservation... or they don't like you. However, if they aren't sentient then they're trying to kill you because they've been programmed to do so, or they've malfunctioned (which is terrifying!) That's what makes a difference when it comes to my phobia anyway.

So long as they're little or sentient/becoming sentient then I'm fine with them. I don't like those uncanny valley robots that they make in Japan though, those are scary!

I guess on the plus side zombies start rotting pretty quickly, especially in the summer with the heat 'n' stuff so eventually a large chunk of them will die anyway.
