My latest YouTube video is up. It's not a DAI one, but it'll kill some time if you're bored:

LOL that was a pretty awesome video :P

Thanks, I figured I should start getting back to making videos that aren't just The Cat Lady and DAI continuously, lol.

So in your video (which is great btw) you said you had a phobia of robots. Lol. I thought I was the only one on the planet that was afraid of robots!! Lol. Im also terrified of aliens. And yet...My two favorite characters from Mass Effect are Garrus and Legion. I don't get it. Lol

LOL, I think I know what it is about robots. If they're sentient then it's ok because they've become self aware, so they're alive which means if they want to kill you it's because it's self preservation... or they don't like you. However, if they aren't sentient then they're trying to kill you because they've been programmed to do so, or they've malfunctioned (which is terrifying!) That's what makes a difference when it comes to my phobia anyway.

So long as they're little or sentient/becoming sentient then I'm fine with them. I don't like those uncanny valley robots that they make in Japan though, those are scary!

Same here. I developed my fear of robots because of Animatrix. When the robot smashes that guys head. I was really young when I watched that movie and it terrified me. Then I Robot came out and the fear just got worse. But there were certain movies that had robots, nice ones, and I noticed I wasn't afraid of them. So it's the same with me.

Got a little derailed with the thread...sooooo yeah....Knight Captain Cullen Image IPB

Emotionally dead inside Hawke aside, Cullen was pretty hot interrogating Wilmod like that. Do you think he'll hold us at sword-point in DA:I?!

For me it was when I watched the Terminator film and then went on a school field trip to a Science museum a few days later. There was this performance piece with a "mad scientist" cycling around with a robot attached to the back that looked a bit like the T-800... that was scary enough as it was, but then the bloody thing fell forward and ran at me. It must have been remote controlled or something, but whoever was controlling it must have seen I was nervous and thought it would be funny to send it my way.

To make things worse, me and my friend ran away from it because we were freaked out and hid in this tunnel of love walk way thingy that lead to another part of the exhibition... which led to our class mates calling us lesbians for the rest of the week. =]

I'll let him if it's part of some sorta kinky romance scene... otherwise he'll get a kick in the nuts. Unless he's keeping watch when we're in the fade and has the blade at our throat ready, just in case (and under our orders).

Not at all, at least I hope not. Part of me wants the Vivienne romance scene to include fireball throwing after all. And when I did the Isabela romance for the first time I was like, no, why are you throwing the knives away?!

Not at all  I thought he was very sexy when interrogating Wilmod. So he may do that... as long as he comes to understand it is better to having something else pointing in the inquisitors direction

I wanna see him jumping in front of a sword or deflecting magic aimed at the Inquisitor, like he did for Hawke in DA2.

Awww, now you reminded me of the Alistair romance Ultimate Sacrifice. That stuff is even worse than the Landsmeet breakup!

Cullen better have heartbreakability!

Omg, imagine if the sword/magic actually struck him and could mortally wound him if you didn't do a certain something (like a loyalty quest) for him earlier in the game. If you did do his quest then he'd still get hit but it wouldn't kill him, just injure him badly... man, my Inquisitor would be sure to give him PLENTY of thanks for that one! Giggidy! :P

It's really bad, but the first time I fight a dragon in Origins, I always die on purpose, and then have Alistair rush in and save the day because it's really romantic and the kill animation is exceptionally cool.

I think it's too context specific to imagine him holding us at sword point if he's also working with/for us. But, regardless I want to see assertive!Cullen from the Wilmod scene, or from the taking Bethany to the Circle scene, or standing up to Meredith... Whether he's disagreeing with us or someone else, I don't care, so long as we get to see it. Hubba.

"You'll have to go through me" is actually my favorite Cullen scene in the entire franchise. I just feel like his character has come full circle at that point... and it honestly took my breath away because I wasn't expecting it. Not in a swoony kind of way, but just in pleasure at seeing this character surprise me. I love it when that happens.

Yeah, it just prooves that he has a back bone and that he was tired of people walking all over what's right. Loved it. It was a good add in by the writers. A nice twist for once, a Templar going against orders he knows damn well are wrong. I honestly think it's 'the biggest' developement in a character in those games. That's an NPC.<3

I think (and I could be wrong) but didn't someone (maybe R2?) say that we should try to reach 3000 pages before DA:I hits stores? I think we will surpass that. Was gonna suggest we try for 4000 but if news comes out about the game next year, I bet we surpass 4000 as well. I say we should try for 5000 pages before Fall 2014 release! Lol

But what's your idea? I wanna hear!

Yes, this Image IPB I was really like Image IPBImage IPBImage IPB When he did that 'You'll have to go through me'. Finally standing up for what he feels is right, even though it is insubordination and he might be punished severely for it. So yes, I hope we get to see more of that in DA:I. I'd be fine if he does it to the inquisitor too if he/she is really stepping the line in his opinion.

I can't really recall if we had any theme ideas for 3000, except that a lot of folks hadn't finished their projects for 2500. I would love for us to do something really special for 3000, so I'd love to hear some ideas. Vamp, did you have an idea for a theme?  Or an idea for a project? We tend to get the best participation when the theme is sorta loose.

I don't think we should worry too much about hitting a certain milestone before DA:I comes out. We churn out a pretty regular number of pages per day anyway, but we also have no idea at what point there will be a new forum (whether that's new  BSN altogether or new DA:I character forums).

'Loose' theme... Cullen in his leisure time or something? But I don't really mind: everything is fine to me
