Cori May
I haven't even played #DAI properly yet, and I already feel guilty for decisions I'm going to make in the name of love.
Oh gawd! And Cori is a notorious Cullen fangirl too... Although to be fair she does fangirl over a lot of the male characters.
Hm, I guess I've made worse decisions in BioWare games in the past "in the name of love", I'm sure I can do it again!

What if you had to kill one companion to keep him/her from killing an LI? (Like, if Sebastian had forced the issue with Anders, and you either had to kill Sebastian or let him kill Anders.)
Omg, that would be awesome!
*Edit* For example, in this scenario the reason why the companion is going to kill the LI is because he/she just done something that could be considered pretty bad (like Anders did when he blew up the Chantry).
A scene triggers with the two of them at each others throats, suddenly you see a glint of the murder knife as your companion pulls it on your LI who is completely unprepared and unaware that he/she is about to get stabbed. You literally have a split second to decide in a heartbeat whether to step in and "interupt" (kill the companion). The idea is that the scene is so fast paced and dramatic that it's urgent and overwhelming so that the player doesn't have the chance to weigh up the pros and cons about who's in the right or wrong or if your LI deserves to die.
That way your immediate reaction would be based solely on a emotional/raw adrenalin response. Interupting the companion would result in your character killing him/her. Choosing not to interupt results in your LI dying.
(Obviously you can reload and redo it once you've had a chance to calm down and think things through though, lol.)

I actually would have loved it if Sebastian would have raised his bow or grabbed a murder knife himself and threatened to kill Anders, and you would have to chose there to interrupt him or let him do it (drama-roleplay is great sometimes)
That would've made for a far more interesting scene, especially if you had the option for Hawke to dash infront of Anders and stab Seb first or something.
Man, I hope we get a scene like that now.

Why isn't there a toolset for DA:2... (not that I would be able to do anything with it... )
Well technically , DAO and DA2 are built on the same engine so the DAO toolset can work on DA2 as well since the assets have the same file extentions, you just have to know how to work it, if you looked at the mods for DAO you can see that for example some of the armor and hair are imported into DAO from DA2 and vice versa

I don't like it when companions force the issue and then attack you. It prevents them then going off and actually doing something interesting on their own. That's why I liked Sebastian's choice, and why when I romance him I always let Anders live. (He's my canon romance too so it better be reflected and stuff!)
True, but this is BioWare and David Gaider, you know how he loves fan tears. And if what the devs are claiming and hinting at is true then we're gonna be faced with a lot of difficult, heartbreaking and unavoidable decisions.

Death really isn't always necessary for tragedy. Alistair's Landsmeet break up left me feeling more heartbroken than his US. (Both made me cry however)

Not per se attack the player. I would like if tension could rise to a level where companions attack (eachother or the player). Maybe not to kill, but at least to give them a high five in the face. If they really aim to kill, an interruption option would be nice.

Hmm, wouldn't it be interesting if one of those difficult, heartbreaking and unavoidable decisions was an either/or situation where if you spared Morrigan, Leliana would die or vice versa? They'd never do that because it involves Morrigan and Leliana, the Golden Ones, but it would still cause a few players an anxious moment or two.LolaLei wrote...

True, but they've likely taken inspiration from ME3... or at least they said they were inspired by the character deaths etc. Expect fan rage, LOL!

Is there an option to let them both go out in a blaze of glory?

Oh boy, the death that was worst for me was Anderson... ugh I was in tears, even though I saw it coming from a mile away. I'm not really that attached to any DA characters, at least this far. My guess is this is Bodahns last game, maybe even our Warden. I wouldn't be surprised if he/she is on her way to the deep roads or at least close to it and that would mean Alistair is on his way out as well.

It wasn't the companion deaths they weren't pleased with, it was the endings... and for some, Shepard's death.

I have a very strong sneaking suspicion lovely Morrigan will die in this game, as in Flemeth will take her body, (Or at least she will have taken one of her other daughter's). The only trouble is, whose voice do they keep? Kate Mulgrew and Claudia Black are just too awesome.
