Awww, I didn't want that to happen! At first I wasn't convinced it was actually Faith, (we can talk about her right?), because the mirror said he couldn't show us her.

Elfman: Yeah, that's exactly what I thought too!

Did you think it was going to be the one you can lie for, (I lied for that person and I thought it was going to be a mistake)?

I thought it was gonna be the toad boy, lol.

Awww he was so cute! I didn't think it was going to be him because of who I was suspecting. I mean, I was screaming it at the screen when they first started talking about it.

I think we should go over our choices...somehow without spoiling stuff. I don't want things that happened to happen!

Crazy dude? I think this may just be down to the order in which we did things...

If I were to get Skyrim, is it just as good on Xbox?

Skyrim is pretty good. If you liked the other Elder Scrolls, you'll probably like Skyrim. I'd say it's just as good on Xbox as it is on PC, only that you can't use mods.

Changing face shapes isn't new anyway, Alistair and Zevran were barely recognisable in DA2, and Alistair had less excuse, there was no real reason for his face shape to change so much.

The main reason Alistair and Zevran looked as they did was because their faces were made using the regular chargen system-- which was not really up to the task of emulating faces which were originally custom-made (try making Alistair's face with the DAO chargen and you'll see what I mean).

I don't think either of them was as horrifying as some people seem to (I assume it's the typical exaggeration with which every opinion is expressed hereabouts), but they did look a bit different and it would have been nice to have the time to custom tweak them like Morrigan and Cassandra and such have been. For those who will react to any perceived difference, no matter the cause, that will never go away no matter how much tweaking is done-- the new engine and fidelity guarantees any returning character will not look the same. They cannot, in fact, look the same.

I'm not worried.

Bioware is a learning company. As much as the faces in DA2, to characters we liked, sucked. I think they took that info to heart and consideration. Especially if it's going to be a party memeber, and not a cameo.

I see there's a regular edition and limited or extended or whatever, anyone know the difference? Is it worth getting the better one?

Do you mean the Legendary Edition? That one is Skyrim plus the three DLC packs. I'd probably go with the Legendary edition if you want all the DLC content, which is pretty cool. I have them all, but I bought them as they came out.

So for Dragon Age Inquisition are you able to make returning characters faces closer to the original than you could previously do when re-creating faces for the origins characters in DA2?

No. As I just said above, they will never look as they did-- they cannot. It's like a comic book with a new artist-- the idea will be to make them recognizeable in the new style.

Whether they'll be pleasing is a different question. For some, the fact they're at all different will mean they'll never be pleasing.

People always complain about how characters look. I remember when they first showed Isabela for DA2, people said her jaw was too huge, amongst other things. It was just the angle. People complained about Aveline and Bethany, and I think they're two of the cutest ladies in the game. But I notice it always seems to be the females that get picked apart, more so than the males. Oh well. Yet people still fell in love with characters from Baldur's Gate, which was pixelated as hell.

Cullen will still be gorgeous.
