Merrill is the only blood mage my Hawke will ever consider her friend. She might use blood magic, but she uses it to fix the Eluvian and help her fellow elves. It's a noble cause. Plus, she's just so naive and adorable my Hawke just can't help but love her  I was at max friendship with her by the beginning of Act II.
I don't think of Merrill as a blood mage (even though she is one), just as one of Hawke's many friends.

Yea, you guys are right ,sorry I just got a lil freaked out when I read DG comment cause to me at least it would have made sense if it got pushed back to add some more stuff like they did now when it got pushed to 2014,.
But I haven't looked at it in that perspective that they would need to improve what they already have. But thankfully Cameron said that is not, so that's good, personally im not sure if I could resist to wait for another year lol

I tend to forget that Merrill is a blood mage. I think it's because she's not psycho-bonkers like all the others shown in DA2.

 Like tennis... But I think it is really neat to hear they are recording more voice-overs. Maybe we should watch Greg Ellis closely to spot if he is involved?
