Do you think Cullen's ever taken a hit off of red lyrium?
Maybe, I guess it depends if Meredith's little episode put him off, or if he even realised that red lyrium caused her to go jumping around the Gallows like a mad thing. I'd prefer it if he didn't, but it would certainly make for an interesting storyline!

It might be a way to demonstrate what can happen through personal conversation with someone who's not necessarily an enemy?LolaLei wrote...

I must say, it doesn't seem as though Cullen's outlook on mages really changed much between the beginning and end of DA2. All he objected to was Meredith's "kill everyone immediately" policy, and the survivors would have been made Tranquil later anyway, which he evidently considers significantly superior to death.

I dunno what that's got to do with the possibility of him huffing red lyrium, but I think the reason most of us like him is because he is a majorly flawed character. Personally, it doesn't bother me whether he loves or hates mages, I just find his character intriguing.

I wonder if it's more likely to find him interesting as a character if you're attracted to men? Is there much of a gay Cullen fanbase?

They didn't directly relate, it was just another Cullenish observation I had. Even if it's been said before; if so, I apologize.

Hard to say, I mean, I've found loads of female characters interesting and I wasn't attracted to all of them. I've seen a few gay men that had quite a thing for Cullen, but in general the Cullen fanbase really isn't as big as people seem to think.

It certainly is one of the most stable, given that this is the only DA2 character thread that regularly updates, to my knowledge.LolaLei wrote...

We thought about making a Cullen thread in the main DAI forum, but that would be... unwise, LOL.

Where is it in the lore that it says they would have been made Tranquil anyway? I don't recall that.
I've only run across the occasional gay BSN member so I doubt we could accurately tally gay Cullen fans. Then again, I'm not here that much lately so...

Different strokes for different folks, peeps. I'm a chick and bi and I wanted to romance the pants off of Aveline. 'Twas a sad sad day when I learned I couldn't.
Ah. I hadn't heard Gaider mention it but ok.

True enough. You're pretty moderate in comparison to some, Xil.

Out of curiosity, soapbox crusaders like me?
I'd say you're too logical and well thought to be a "crusader". lol! one of the things that peeves me the most are other BSNers who claim we're hysterical and such but they're the ones who can't provide a respectful discourse.
