It wasn't just the Kaidan thread, the entire Character discussion forum group got shut down. From Chris Priestly's post, it looks like there was just way too much fighting and rule breaking in multiple threads in that forum, so they closed it down.

It's never quite so bad in the designated romance/character threads, the most you get is fans of certain LIs bickering amongst themselves (occasionally it escalates, but not often).

Sadly, even if there's a Cullen-as-companion official thread, it won't be the same. I had always hoped we'd be able to come back here, as an escape.  But, now I start to fear the unknown.

Is it time to panic??

If all the DA2 threads go, so goes the Cullen thread... We're the only one that's active anyway.

I think we're headed for a major overhaul, hopefully resulting in the opening of more DA:I forums and some greater usability of the site. I just hope it doesn't lose all the threads from the past. When they first opened the BSN, all the old DA forums (like those linked in the wiki) were lost forever.

Well sure, we can make a new thread in DA:I forum... and sure, the jerks will come at first, but they won't stay. They'll try to troll us (as they do here), but we will ignore them, and continue gushing talking intelligently about our favorite templar.

People wouldn't stop ****ing about Ashley not being gay, for one. One of my friends was also insulted because he wasn't using Sheploo to romance Ash. And the Miranda fans also wouldn't stop complaining about the lack of content. I think there was also a war going on between the Miranda and Ashley fans. The Garrus fans were some of the most chill...but they jumped down my throat when I made a joke about my Shep getting hives when she first kissed him. :\\ People thought making Kaidan gay was pandering to the gay fans, Liara had plot armor, and Tali's face was photoshopped from a google photo...there were so many things that people would not make peace with.

So, if y'all ever think DA fans are crazy...think of this. XD

Hmm.. to me that sounds a lil childish,  I mean at this point its just a matter personal prefrence on who u like,  and no one can force you to like something if you dont want too, for example: sure, I dislike certain characters from the DA universe but I dont go out of my way in every single thread about the said character and bash it in, thats just silly. If  you dont like something or some one fine,  either keep it to ur self or have a decent debate about it .

For instance Xil she doesnt like Cullen that much witch is fine  atleast she comes in here and have some interesting discussions about him and shares her point of view witch maybe for some of us  might shed a new light on the charachter  then we were use too

I hung out every now and then with the Kaidan thread weeelll before ME3 was even announced but dared not touch the ME forum with a ten foot pole after I finished the game.


I find most fandoms of things I like tend to be mostly crappy.
For example: I like Naruto, but it'll be a cold day in hell indeed if you actually get me onto a Naruto forum. You are utterly crucified if you don't like the "right" pairings. (read: most popular)

Or say you like certain, more unpopular characters. If I said I liked Obito, I'd get trolled.

and that's basically all that seems to matter.

Argh. The former, to my knowledge, no longer works (at least with DAO, I'm not sure about DA2... but I've never seen it work either).

So you have to delete DAO and then reinstall it? Delete all PCs/save files as well?

lol I have tryed that so many times and it still didnt work ..... i once left my DAO opened  for an entire day just so it can sync with this thing and still nothing, altho i have a question does my screen name here has to match my origin one? Couse they are diffrent  is that why i cant sync?

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if ME3 became a special situation with all the issues with the ending. I mean, you see all those types of bad behavior here in the DA threads... but if you added in the nuclear nature of the ME3 ending, the companions threads might have required the True Death.
