Justin Timberlake also has that noodly hair. But other than that, don't think Id recommend.

Never saw Hiddleston as Cullen until I saw him as Henry IV. He can do gravitas, not just mischief.

All these guys are too young and maybe even too pretty for Cullen. Although the first guy has the right hair and facial hair.

Tom Hiddleston is probably abt right.  He's 32.

Really?! :o Oh well, I guess that's about right. He doesn't look so young when I think about. But soooo pretty! And I do love pretty boys. Though not for myself, if you know what I mean ;) But while Cullen does have a prettiness to him, he's also got a bit of ruggedness about him, plus I like to think he's pushing 40. Or even like 35ish. Not that 32 is that far from 35... but it's, as of a few months ago, officially younger than me, which is weird :pinched:

Also I can't stop associating Tom H. with Loki, and OMGGGGGGGGGG Tumblr is in love with that character, to the point where I've blocked it lol Which is sad, because that character is awesome... he is a great actor. But it's just like overkill, you know??

I don't usually post (in fact I always feel stupid awkward when I do so I try not to) so I apologize for being late on this but HI! I really love a ton of your comments and ideas! You add a lot of interesting thoughts to the discussion and really hold your own. So glad you could make it to the party! Now excuse me while I go back to creepily lurking in the darkest corner. ; )

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad you've enjoyed what I've said. I was actually worried I was blathering incoherently because lately I've felt like half the things I say offline have been idiotic, so I was worried I was doing the same thing here. ;)

It's nice to be here.

Kirrahe1 wrote...

You know, a while back when we were all discussing the PTSD symptoms Cullen has shown signs of it didn't feel terribly awkward for me.

If you're ever in the mood to discuss that again, it's a conversation I'd be interested in having. I just haven't brought it up because I was afraid it had been discussed a bazillion times before I got here.

I believe it's because that particular subject is something I spend hours dealing with. But for whatever reason whenever I ask a question or voice an opinion it always feels too... I don't know....extemporaneous to me lol. I also don't usually (ever) post on anything so maybe it's like driving. Ya gotta practice to get over the initial fear lol! But thank you, your kind to try and make me feel less like a turtle on my back : D

I think it is indeed like driving: if you do it regularly, you get used to it. I hope you'll do so! I think you'd be a fun person to talk with. :)

OMG, this is coolest thing I've seen recently. OT, but I know we've been talking about geek gear for women. Well, behold: Thedas Map Scarf!!! The store also has a bunch of other geeky style scarves, Middle Earth map, periodic table, HP, Batman.

I love this! I... love a lot of them, actually. What a cool site!

I'm trying to figure out if I can justify buying one of these since I can't wear scarves to work - would I get enough use out of it on my days off? Decisions, decisions. ;)

I dunno if it's because I'm working now, but time seems to be flying even faster. I feel like DAI isn't so far away from release anymore.

Time seems to be flying for me too! It's like I blink and half a month has passed.

I admit, I'm in a good mood because I just made the mage plot make far more sense: when I had Varric lie his way past Ser Karras instead of killing him, I then had the thought that he'd just report Hawke to Meredith after he found out that she'd lied about Grace and the others... then I realized that it's possible he still thinks she's an enchanter from Fereldan who's possibly over in Kirkwall just to stay with her family, on leave or something. And if he thought that, Cullen might think the same thing, and not necessarily be inclined to arrest her. Of course, Varric might need to forge a letter back from Ferelden if any of the Kirkwall templars would write and ask about Hawke, but I'm sure he could do that, or even if he couldn't, he could find someone who could.
This would collapse after Act 2, but by that point, Hawke has the whole Champion thing going.

Oooh, very nice. I notice Cullen keeps getting blonder as he gets older. But he's still pretty darn sexy.

I think he looks a little too derpy to play Cullen.

Eh, I dunno... might depend on the role. Loki certainly looks nothing like Cullen.

I find Rennies help.

I say cut the parts where the children are involved. Those are never any good anyway. Unless the child's possessed or soon to be possessed because the demon happens to be a bloody adorables cat!

I have to reluctantly and grudgingly acknowledge that some pics of TH are Cullen-like, but it's upsetting because I find him SO unattractive lol

I didn't find him attractive until the latest Thor movie. He's so funny in it that I was like "oooooo, ok NOW I see the attraction!"

Perhaps it's just potential content cuts, rather than it being a sure thing.

LOL No need to be upset. He won't be cast as Cullen for anything.

And, I can understand the resistance. The Loki craze on tumblr also took me by surprise. I totally didn't get it... particularly not after this scene with Thor... ahem...

(and, was I just looking for an excuse to post this gif? yes, yes, I was)

But, now I think  Loki  is just adorbs. I also find I prefer TH's natural, more Culleny look. Waddya know?
