Perhaps it's just potential content cuts, rather than it being a sure thing.

I didn't find him attractive until the latest Thor movie. He's so funny in it that I was like "oooooo, ok NOW I see the attraction!"
Aww yea, welcome to the club Lola <3 And totally agree about his appearance in Thor 2, ultimate level of snark and I loved every moment!

I admit, I'm in a good mood because I just made the mage plot make far more sense: when I had Varric lie his way past Ser Karras instead of killing him, I then had the thought that he'd just report Hawke to Meredith after he found out that she'd lied about Grace and the others... then I realized that it's possible he still thinks she's an enchanter from Fereldan who's possibly over in Kirkwall just to stay with her family, on leave or something. And if he thought that, Cullen might think the same thing, and not necessarily be inclined to arrest her. Of course, Varric might need to forge a letter back from Ferelden if any of the Kirkwall templars would write and ask about Hawke, but I'm sure he could do that, or even if he couldn't, he could find someone who could.
This would collapse after Act 2, but by that point, Hawke has the whole Champion thing going.
Oooo, I like it!
I was just thinking the same. Wanna do the honours?

Oooh, very nice. I notice Cullen keeps getting blonder as he gets older. But he's still pretty darn sexy.
It's funny you should say that Chanda, just the other day my friend was complaining about how his red/brown hair is getting more blond. He thought it was because of how much time he spent outside. Which I guess would make sense for cullen also! Stuck inside a tower you wouldn't get nearly as much sun as standing in the gallows.

Speaking from personal experience, it's entirely possible that his hair is getting lighter naturally. My hair used to be a medium to light brown. It's now quite a light blond. It makes me chuckle that people are complaining about Varric's hair being darker... that happens naturally, too.Kirrahe1 wrote...

On a semi-related note, and at risk of wildly overthinking this, as I was exploring in Broken Circle, I couldn't help forming the opinion that the architecture of the Ferelden tower has got to be a nightmare for the templars to have to supervise. Barely any sightlines and way too many room doors that open inward... it would be a really difficult work environment. From what little we saw, Kirkwall's mage-y areas seem to be much better laid out.
...I'm a total geek.

I think part of the hair color difference is actually the tower lighting. In the toolset, I believe his hair color is the same as Alistair's.BevH wrote...

You're right. I just checked the toolset to confirm and they have the same hair color. And in this side by side it does appear the Cullen's hair color is the same for both games.R2s Muse wrote...

This comparison was done in the very early pages of the old Cullen thread, just after the game came out. It was funny reading again the consternation over all the re-imagined characters. I see a lot of that in our own future as well! LOL

Well, there's another reason I seek out spoilers, namely to ensure that the game won't suck. This is what led me to not buying ME3 until the Extended Cut came out.
I bought the original and bawled at the ending, especially since I didn't have enough credits or whatever to get the "special" ending lol Then I finally got the special ending after the EC, and I still bawled, but then I also immediately went and search for fanfics on Shepard reuninted with his crew and loved one lol
I spoil myself ridiculously when it comes to the LI. I find guides so I never make a single mis-step. The few times I thought I'd ruined my chances at romancing Fenris or Isabela were no doubt frightening to behold; I go into a rage and declare I hate the game and will never play it again. Then I realize all is not lost, that I did not actually skip the Super Important Sub-Quest and can still romance my intended honey, and all is right with the world again.
I mean I even freaked out over Dragon's Dogma, and you know how lame the LI is for that game
Skyrim, I didn't freak out, but I was so anxious about marrying someone that I settled for the first reasonablly attractive fellow I found and put all other quests aside so I could find the stupid amulet or whatever and then drag his ass off to the alter.
I'm pitiful.

LOL Yeah, the side by side comparison, particularly this one, is not flattering for original recipe Cullen.
I wasn't the only one thinking it?
I just know that Alistair made me feel bad about not playing a female; Cullen did not LOL
I know he will change for DA:I and the new engine; I actually am looking forward to the changes, especially after that concept art with Maybe!Cullen. The older he gets, the more attractive he gets for me!
