Yeah. I spend all my time in the ME3 section now, and drooling over Kaidan. I can't wait for March. (Why do their games often come out in March??)

A Cullen DLC would be absolutely wonderful, which means we won't ever get one.
<<<<Is feeling rather cynical lately regarding DA DLC.

I'm sure the next game will take place in Orlais. Everything in DA2 seems to foreshadow it. I guess it will be another two years until we know for certain.

Yes we can only dream! One thing I'm looking forward to is a Starkhaven DLC, which has been hinted by devs. I figure at the very least that has to take place after Act 3. I am hopeful that anything that moves the story forward might have  some mention of Cullen. So I guess I'm trying to be non-cynical. LOL

Yeah, they're fairly telegraphing the fact that the next one will be in Orlais, huh? DA2 + DA: Asunder + MotA  I mean, that's where Bodahn and Sandal are going! LOL But, after MotA I'm not quite looking forward to the Orlais setting as much. Some aspects look like they'll be fun to learn about - intrigue, masks, fancy fancy settings. But, over the top characters like Baron Arlange make we worry.

Yes, I think Cullen looks better. I wish they'd done a better job with Alistair as well, I think he looks like crap in DA2.

Lol no you didn't kill it. I think BSN is a bit slow over all lately. It was very nice seeing more of Cullen in DA2 and I haven't given up my hopes of seeing him again in DA3.

So, if the next game is set in Orlais, will our PC be Orlesian and sound like Leliana? That might be nice for Cullen.

I think it just depends on their tone of voice. There are a lot of British female accents I find incredibly annoying, but it is the particular women speaking them, not the accent themselves. It will be interesting to see where they set the game. We went from a country to a city, if this were sci-fi they'd get stuck in a room a la Cube! I'd still like to see Tevinter. It is a huge area that could have a lot of impact on the mage/templar conflict.

Yay, action on the Cullen board! No worries, slyborg, we've just been ... slow recently!

I've heard so much interest around the boards for Cullen in DA3, and not just from those of us - ahem - who want to romance him. So, I'm hopeful!  He just seems to fit so well thematically into the new game if it deals with mage-Templar war drama.

You know, I keep thinking that the next game will just be in Orlais, but after watching the BW presentation at NYCC, I'm finally reminded that one of the few things they've said definitively about DA3 is that it will show us lots of new places. They keep showing that big ole map that includes both Orlais, the Free Marches, Ferelden and such. Maybe even Tevinter...? I need to compare to a detailed map with names... So, hopefully we'll be moving around alot!

As to an Orlesian PC... I suppose we could get a flavor of it with Awakenings, although I think I only played for like 20 minutes with my Orlesian warden character and of course she was not voiced. But, BW has always done such a great job of voice casting (I personally think the Hawkes are both brilliant . . .) that I'm sure they could find a non-irritating Orlesian. So far the Orlesians seem to be polarized between the Isoldes/Arlanges and more palatable Lelianas, suggesting BW also recognizes that they're extremes.

But, bringing Cullen to the heart of Templar-dom in Orlais would be juicy...

@R2 They probably got so many complaints with DA2's recycled everything and lack of ability to really explore, that they're backtracking! I would love it if we could visit several different countries that we have only heard about over the last two games. Now that would be an epic Dragon Age game, and might bring back fans they lost with DA2.

Hee hee, I sorta felt like Isolde's cameo in MotA was BW's tongue firmly in cheek, recognizing how silly she was. I mean . . . she's definitely quotable.

I'm hoping that there will be a DLC that ties up Hawke's story after the battle of the Gallows(since Hawke won't be the PC in DA3 I think we need a better conclusion to her story), since at least if you sided with Templars there should be room for some Cullen Hawke interaction.
