Yeah and they seem to want a blog thats merely a complaint free shrine. Funny thing is, is the mod posted something similar last week and it was right after a Fenris Confession.   I notice a great many Fenris fans get really offended. Anders fans do as well but most seem to post these massive analytical replies while Fenris fans strike back in differnet ways

LOL In contrast to the Cullen haters... I dunno. Some of the Cullen ones have kicked up their fair share of dust, but certainly not like some of these Fenris and Anders ones. It cracks me up that people are posting "rebuttal" confessions. My favorite confession so far was about how great it is to see fans even for characters you don't particularly like, since it shows you a new perspective. I do wish more folks had that attitude.

Definitely. That's another reason why I kept Ali as a Grey Warden, since he was practically trying to force it on him.

Definitely. That's another reason why I kept Ali as a Grey Warden, since he was practically trying to force it on him.

I did the same. Alistair and my Warden are Wardening together. I figure they were forced to separate a couple of times but in my canon, they eventually disappear because they just get fed up with the Warden BS.

I only did one Queen Cousland ending and while it was nice and all especially with the wedding mod, most of my characters make him a Warden except for my dwarves.

He seems happier as a Warden too, and is very sweet about the Warden if he romanced her when you encounter him in DA2 if he's also a Warden... Of course, the romance import flags are glitched for the Xbox version so very few of us get to see it unless we watch it on YouTube lol.

Cullen's age resolved!! Over on tumblr katiebour has cracked open the DA:O toolset character files. Cullen was 24 in Origins. So, we weren't too far off! (I think I'd settled on 25ish?) That puts him at 31 in Act 3.

Wow - I love she's done this! I wonder if the same can be done on the DAII characters to stop the confusion over Fenris and Sebastian's ages.

Edit: Wow - Alistair is meant to be 32?? I'd never have thought that...mid twenties, tops!

Honestly, I think the ages are only there for the sake of the modelers. There's no way Alistair is 32.

I think I heard somewhere that that age was from before they decided to make him younger. I think originally he was supposed to be older and more experienced and then it didn't make sense for him to cede leadership to our young whipper snapper.  But, yeah, I think you're right that they're primarily to help the  modelers. That said... there's ALOT more info in there than is probably needed just for modeling on some of the chars.

Anyhoo, still really useful info!

Like on Cullen's:  "Intelligence: Average" LOL Wish I had had an info card like that on some of guys I've dated...

But anyway, I reckon he'll be around 32/33ish in DA3 (if he's in it), although it wouldn't surprise me if they shave a few years off in the third one.

Wouldn't he have to be at least 33 by the end of DAII, older if it's set after the Mage/Templar war?

I had considered earlier today that the beginning of the next game might run alongside the latter years of the second game (ala the first act of DAII), but then thought it meant they couldn't use Cullen as a companion...which would be annoying.
