Man, I'd be so pissed if it were about Cullen and Amell/Surana. IT'S BEEN TEN YEARS, LET IT GO.
Is it still Carth Syndrome if you're also the other woman?

Hopefully Cullen's doesn't go that route. If he's available to us, anyway. I mean, maybe a little mention wouldn't be so bad.. but that's always personally bothered me. 'Bout as much as someone constantly comparing a love interest to their mother.

LOL My thought was that he meant THIS from 2001. Meaning, the armor customization is just epic.

Oooo, not sprint review day related, but:

F*cking hell. To be honest, all I can think about now is that short fic Lola and I wrote about Cullen being married but being in love with the Inquisitor. All very noble and sad and regretful... A big part of that movie was two people who have a chance meeting that's just electric with potential, but then it's over. It never happens romantically, and they both go back to their lives and potentially to their estranged significant others.
Whoever that soundtrack is about... preparing for tears.

I love the idea that killing off a companion (even if it's revelant to the story) could cause some serious reprocussions down the line, like the Hawke thing you mentioned. Imagine your very own custom Hawke who you played as (and presumably grew attached to) for an entire game (or 10 in-game years) turning on you and threatening your Inquisitor for killing his/her best friend/lover/sibling/etc, crazy ****, but totally awesome! I love this too, and it makes absolute in-character sense.
If someone murdered Fenris - or one of my Hawke's friends, she was close with Varric among others, or her brother - my Hawke would not be willing to work with them, and in fact the conversation would end with only one party left alive.
I would love that level of consequence in the game, even if it's probably not possible from a programming standpoint since there would just be too many variables.

Sadness? Regrets? Feels? So, this being Dragon Age, "this character" means "everyone"?

Oooh, or the Rite of Tranquility! We've never actually seen that have we?
Hey, that uses lyrium right to get the mage all nice and dead inside? What if we use red lyrium instead?

Huh. I just realized since Varric and Cassandra aren't characters by Patrick Weekes, he -might- of been talking about someone else.
David Gaider is writing Cassandra and Mary Kirby is writing Varric (and Vivienne).

That would be interesting. In DA2 when you're in the fade and talk with Feynril and he asks you to kill him Hawke says that it wouldn't kill him but make him Tranquil. So how does a Templar make a Mage tranquil? Do they have to enter the Fade as well or maybe they just overdose the Mage on Lyrium?

Yes, I figured it to be something like that too. I hope we'll find out somedayElfman wrote...
I imagine it similar to the picture, only that the brand has been dipped in liquid lyrium beforehand and then it does something similar to Fenris' phasing ability into the mage's brain. Then that brand is just an autoglass-repair-autoglass-replace type scar.

I think I will be tuning inI've always been curious about tabletop games, especially since some of the BW writers got their start there. I'd love to see one played out.
Really it works better when everyone's around a table in the same room, but we'll have to just try and make it work over the internet... **** knows how.
