Glad you guys think it could have potential.
R2s Muse, when you play kotor you sometimes get evil points for using persuade, even as a light Jedi.
I suppose I can see what Bioware means - it's a slippery slope when you force people to do things they don't want to, even (and maybe especially if) you're very convinced that you're right.
Ah, good to know they've updated the morality from the obi-wan-can-do-no-wrong days. That does make more sense, IMO. And, really implementing the evil side of blood magic might finally succeed in balancing out that mage vs. templar debate and show some of the "greater good" the templars are supposed to be working for. Good on them!
But like some of you guys, I've never rolled a blood mage. If it had greater impact on our choices, though, I totally would!
I would probably try it out just to see its effects, but you know, I never choose just because it's always seemed like something my character wouldn't do. I remember thinking this more in DA:O, and there were some specializations I never got til I started paying attention to the achievements (like... Reaver...? is that one?).
On another note, I finally started that thread on mages and the fade we talked about days ago.

I'd really like it if some of you *ahem* left your Cullen comfort bubble and participated.
OH man.... and now you've gone and asked so nicely... <_<
