HoDA is available on Google Play, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch only. So no, it's not for Windows 8 phones, sadly.

I still can't get the darn game to work on my iPod. It's definitely time for me to upgrade. Thank goodness it's close to Christmas time lol. Now I can buy myself something and not feel guilty about it. "It's my Christmas gift to myself. ;D"

I actually didn't mind his DA2 model. Anyway I was actually thinking that the new elf looked kinda like Zevran.

He does actually look like him a bit, yeah. I knew there was a reason I got a bit of a deja vu when I first saw that model.

On that note, I got my third Stroud in HoDA. I feel like the game is trying to tell me something? 

At least he has a snazzy helmet and shield now.

I think that the new elf model looks nice though. More like the elves in DA:O.

I think that your game has something with epic moustaches Batteries XD I haven't got any doubles yet for characters.

@Batteries: I think that the face/eyes are a lot like Origins, but the ears and jawline are a lot like DA2. If that is what Zevran is going to look like (or at least someplace close) than I think I'm going to enjoy the new models even more. I mean I actually loved DA2's models, even the lack of shoes, but the new models are pretty cool.

@Mahumia: I actually got a ton of werewolves and a couple bears, but they are USELESS lol. Luckily all you actually need are doubles of the original so it's not like you need 2 level 2's in order get a three and so on.

I've had some doubles in the bronze/silver range too, but those have been nommed by the gold/epic characters.

Wow, HoDA is hard. I'm already struggling on the third map playing with 2 gold and 2 silver + 1 silver. Have you guys spent money on it yet? I would hate to start buying heroes only to realize that I need to spend a fortune for every map.

I bought a hero, which is how I got Sebastian. I wanted to see if it could be overly exploited which it doesn't seem like it can at the moment. You still need to level them up or have them nom on some lesser heroes. I would say once you get a team your comfortable with, just keep having them consume lesser heroes until their 2x damage is high enough. Unfortunately the mages and dragons are incredibly overpowered atm.

I have not spent money on it, but the difficulty curve is indeed horrible. I would recommend to save up for the warrior packages until you have a whole team of at least gold level. And just replay the previous maps instead of progressing: I think they are awfully hard too.

I haven't seen a pic of Sebastian. Could you share a screenie, Danny? or is there lots of that type of info on the wiki already? Does he look Princely? Or Brotherly?

Wow, you guys are definitely dampening the little enthusiasm I had for playing this game. I just don't have the time it seems to require to see the interesting heroes. I think I'll just have to keep living vicariously through y'all. And, um, screenies would be welcome.  You know, just sayin.

I'll make some screenies for you later on R2 I've got Sebastian too: he's wearing the same armor and bow as in DA:2, but I have only the 'first tier' version of him, so perhaps this changes.

Well, we know he looks like Cullen, but before I start insulting his dead mother or creeping on him in front of his children or something equally embarrassing, I need to know a few things.

Does he bake? Will he put on a skirt for me?

I only get the cheap packages, that could be where I go wrong. I'm hoping that my superior tactics and leadership skills will make up for it, holding a short motivational speach before every battle and never denying a request for leave of absense due to family matters.

Ah. Of course, I have no bloody mages OR dragons. But I did get Cass when buying a brown package!  I'm sorry to say it Danny, but she isn't very good (which is sorta great, because it means you're right about the high tier heroes not breaking the game).

I wonder if anything in HoDA actually has any bearing on the events yet to be seen in DAI? Like Warden Commander Carver (if you made him a Warden in DA2), or if it was just added for tier ranking/by mistake/for lols/whatever?

I'm afraid it is all just for lols Lola, as the teams themselves also make no sense at all.

And LOL Kurt XD I like the way you are thinking... both for !ModelCullen and the teamspirit in HoDA. Personally I think that certain characters are definately game breaking in HoDA... But Cass and Seb are nice. I have the dragon thrall in my team, and usually it gets his behind kicked before it can attack at all, so I do not consider him to be OP. I would actually like it if we could make two teams: one for PVE and one for PVP. For PVE I would go as OP as possible (die, darkspawn!), but for PVP I would like to get a nicely balanced team which is fun to play against (keep the chances equal). But on the other hand... You cannot invite friends anyway... Oh, which reminds me: we Dutchies are locked out of the 'send invites to get gems', so after I have finished all quests I can no longer get gems... Way to go >< Oh well, hopefully they'll have other ways to get them once I reach that point.

Hey Wiedz do you know how to do that with an Android? I'd like to upload my team of misfits

@Commander Kurt: Lol no worries. It seems that for the most part two handed warriors regardless of rarity are kind of meh, followed by warriors in general. I got my arse handed to me by a level 9 Grey Warden Mage and a Rare Stroud with my level 19 Sebastian and 17/16 backups. You really do need to use your runes in fights and get a good group of stuns.

@R2: It is fun, but don't think of it as a real serious game. Just whip it out when you have a couple minutes to spare and you'll have a lot of fun. It actually helped me recharge while I was studying for some of my finals.

@Lola: Possibly, though maybe only in a tertiary way. Like Fiona's appearance and maybe we get someone called Tevinter Exile and it's actually Elfy Mcsmugsen. But honestly I think that it's gonna be a while before we see anything since the same like five heroes keep getting spewed out lol. I would LOVE a Dragon Age: Inquisition party.

u dont get gems by sending invites to other ppl you get them when u keep re-doing quests over and over but the higher lvl u go the harder it gets...


edit nvm  i see what u mean, i thought u meant like when u are fighting ppl  in PVP but yea i can only get gems if a txt someone about da witch i have no clue who to txt because most of my friends are not really into gaming
