I really hope the rumor about it being pushed into 2015 for marketing reasons isn't true. My heart sank when I saw it on the wiki.

@Wiedz - It's a pity you can't trade heroes or you could get a fair number of Sylvans for merging. I seem to have a 50/50 chance of getting one of those.

Ah, too bad... but I'm afraid it will take ages - if ever - I get to a decent ranking... perhaps if everyone stops playing  Nonetheless I hope they will implement some kind of 'invite people you know as friends', so you can see eachothers teams and perhaps do stuff together. Some cooperative campaigns for example.

Got my first Sylvan this morning. It is indeed too bad you can't trade with others, but I guess that would be exploited within no time... you'd get level 4 players with 5 legendaries and people selling their heroes on ebay.

Okay, I 'll try some battles thanks. The only mage I have is rare Circle Mage Bethany but if I use her I'd have to move the Arcitech to the front row and drop Stroud. I think he'd get hit too often but I will give it a try.

Wow, you have a killer squad.  I would personally keep Stroud over Beth, I think he has a better chance for stun (which is invaluable, at least up 'til around lvl 25).

I'm level 12, can manage on medium but has nothing on hard. When I play a round, I burn through the energy I have repeating quests (I hardly have any medium ones left) or, if I'm desperate, I play the "hidden" ones for a few coins. Then I burn through the stamina doing pvp. Then I spend the money I have on Warrior packs and level up my squad by consuming. 

I haven't had to spend real money on the game yet, but I probably will (I've decided on a limit). I'm having fun with it, so the dev's deserve to get food on the table.

I tend to switch a bit between the challenges for the chance of getting a character and the older easy quests for some easy coin. I am mostly buying warrior packages for the increased chance of getting an epic or legendary character compared to the recruit package. Silver characters are still good food for upping the crit chance and level of my squad.

I've replaced the dark revenant with a tevinter battlemage yesterday. Even though the mage is only level 7... ouch! Two mages and a dragon weaken the enemy quite a lot, leaving Cass and Seb to finish them off. The slow and stun of the battlemage is really nasty.

Yeah, I'm around 40k myself.  I feel rude nexting people, so I battle pretty much anyone who comes my way.

Oh, that would be awesome! What if you could use crystals to call for backup from a friend when you're stuck? I can't really see the use for friends atm, so maybe they have something planned.

Indeed, it would break the game in no time. Still good fun though.

I don't have any easy quests left.  Running out of medium ones as well. I also took your advice and switched to warrior packs (got Orsino, the man's a beast!).

Crap, that dude is the one I thought was Larius (I know he's not a mage, but don't they look kinda similar?). Him and Warden Battlemage are the ones I dread facing the most (also, Yevanna is a major pain).

Huh, I wonder if there is a different ranking system depending on what device you play. I play on my Iphone4s and I'm ranked 2630 atm.

I also pulled my first legendary from a Warrior Pack, the High Dragon. It's pretty sweet.

Why do you think that would happen? Have you bleached it before? Even if you have, just wait for it to grow out before bleaching again. Your hair won't fall out... unless you bleach already bleached hair. Then it snaps off dramatically as you're trying to brush it...... yes, been there. 

Regarding the game being pushed back to 2015... huh? Says who? The wiki is not an authority. Anyone can edit that thing. Is there a source?

Kurt, can't you play the quests with the red/orange rectangulars (not the ones providing gems)? On the first and second map, the first few quests are marked 'easy' for me. I just grab the one with the highest payout.

I really dread the warden battlemage... I came across a team with 3 silvers, a gatekeeper and a battlemage... I was like 'hmm, could try this one, seeing I have 2 mages too...' *5 seconds later: you've lost!

On the first map I have done all the quests, on the second one I have 3 left of the last one. I've done 'em all.  I'm on the fifth map now, the second quest is hard from the get go.

I'll bet it was that vague comment from the EA suit that set off the sh!tstorm in the fan community about "maybe" Dragon Age coming out in 2014. MLaw and Darrah immediately quashed it. The wiki tends to go through waves of such misinformation being added whenever some n00b runs across it.

2015? Did you see this on the Dragon Age Wiki or the Wikipedia page? Because I don't see it on either one.

(I wouldn't completely trust a wiki, anyway. Anyone can edit those. Plus, the Dragon Age Wiki has a history of vandals going in to write false news and false information. I was there during the time they had to lock it all down to fix the damage that was done. I can't believe people would do that.)
