Wait a minute! Didn't we battle a Gax..Kang the Unbound in DAO? It was a tuff fight in sum back alley hovel.
I remember he said something about how there were eyes from high...very high watching the Warden. I thought he meant like Loghain or sum shyte. Maybe he meant something else?

Man, sounds like they've been hinting at DAI's storyline since the beginning!

Yeah we did. And Xebbie was the hidden uber-boss in DA2 I believe.

Look at that picture again (in big) I noticed something:
If you blow the picture up big, you can see that it's one of those "magic" doors that were in the Fade, the ones that led you to different areas. So, either this is the Fade and that bridge is just something the Fade conjured up, OR as the Fade leaks into the "real world" it's creating weird objects 'n' stuff, just like it does normally.

this is sort of what I figured about being as they once were. That with no Veil magic is free for anyone. It also could talk about the Tranquil all 'being as they once were' which would dovetail nicely with Asunder.Mahumia wrote...
Those prophecies give me the idea that, with the tearing of the veil, the border between the fade and 'real' world will disappear, like how it was on the old days. Seeing how the elves speak about 'we all used to have magic', that is how I expect it to be: instead of only a few people, everyone will get some sort of link to magic. Perhaps not able to weild it, but... something.
Somehow I think that the 'he' has something to do with the bigass dragon that appears in the vid. Some old god perhaps? Or the Maker himself?
I keep coming back to what Yavana said about a time before the Veil, which was the time of the great dragons. Seems like that's what we could be headed for again once the Veil is torn. Cool stuff.

That possibility I find particularly interesting. Would they need to be a mass re-Tranquilisation? Could it even be done? Will the Rite even work after all this?
And what pf the Qunari and their mindless workers who have been all qamek'd up? Is it just a Qunari version of the Rite? Will they have some sort of massive rebellion now?
I've been thinking a lot about them recently and all the possible implications. What if Inquistion has the demon threat forever ended? What if everyone is now a Saarebas?

It's really just this easy: the moment Varric's real voice gets added to any part of the game, that part gets better. #DAI #TrueFacts

Also, at first--tho I love Varric--I wasn't too sure abt him being in another game as a full companion. But I admit I'm kinda looking fwd to seeing him again. It makes me play da2 a lil different. I try and take him more often and all.
I just keep thinking aww man, I get to see you in the next game Varric. And we're gonna have all kinda adventures. Although, I will have to reintroduce myself to him cuz he won't know me. It makes me feel kinda like, tee hee, I've got a secret. I know you, but you don't know me..tee heeeee. (not stalkerish at all, huh?)

Oh, the Tranquils. I forgot abt them. Hmm. Well, if all the magic comes back, and they will be like they were, that would definitely impact the Tranquils. I guess they won't need that whole reversal of the rite thing they found after all.

Gameplay wise I could see sum epic boss battles and crazy experiences.
Imagine if you found out some crazy stuff abt the Maker. Then you came back to Thedas. (Yes! Return from the Black City! I do not want to die there. Thank you very much, Devs...).
So, you come back w/ a truth..or maybe just something that calls into question what Thedas has been taught thus far, and you have a choice. Do you unleash the knowledge--maybe shaking/destroying Faith? Or, do you hold back? (Eventually form a secret order that are the only ones that know this "truth"?)
That could be rather weighty. I mean, I guess that would depend on your value of Faith. Not religion, per se, but the having something to believe in part. Is that good, or bad? (especially considering the mages being locked up--although your inquisitor might still prefer mages locked up..idk).
Bah, that might make a too diverging world state for future games, tho. Regardless, I would love to venture into that place, with my companions---cuz I'll be a lil scared. Lol!

yet...with something like this, it makes me wonder. is it best to take away ppl's..rock in a storm? or is that rock actually holding them back and making them less self reliant? idk, it's a tough question for me.
oh, and misuse..heh..yeah it could and prolly would be misused eventually. even if the initial intentions were "good". And then you have to take into account the impact it would have on ppl like mages--withholding or not withholding--elves, too...
We're always gonna play a new randomer, tho. But BW is gonna eventually need sum new conflict besides mage/templar or blight stuff.
even if we didn't find sum weird truth, i would still love to venture there.
