Yeah, I still really don't get that whole thing. That and the whole killing anyone who doesn't 100% conform to the player's power fantasy. If you hate someone in a Bioware game, you probably have a good reason, as in they were written to be hated/controversial.
Literally the only character I wouldn't want to see again is Varric, and that is purely on the sheer lack of emotions he inspired from me. I was just ridiculously indifferent. I had no idea he was supposed to be funny until I finished and came back to the forums for a spell. Generally, I just find him anachronistic. I still don't see any humour in the character at all actually. Except when Gamermd83 does her lip syncing thing. But I think that's all on her end. (I especially like her Merrill by the way, but I'm biased because of Eve Myles' Welsh accent)
I just hope they don't autodialogue any 'best bro' (*shudders*) dialogue between him and my Inquisitors.
