I'm kinda hoping she isn't a follower. Not that there's anything wrong with her, she just doesn't really look like the type to wield a weapon.

I agree, though I do hope she is still a major character, and someone we can interact with. I still want to romance her... even knowing nothing about her :> 

Hey, if Dorian (Smug Elf) looked pretty attractive in that "war room" concept art, but yet that art was said to be old and out-dated... and THEN he shows up again in the female dwarf inquisitor concept art, but he suddenly looks ugly and not-very-romanceable... maybe this means he is out of the running for LI?

And Cole is also not going to be a LI if he's in.

And Varric is a maybe, a BIG maybe for me; the Bianca storyline could be thought to add drama to the romance, but a lot of people don't want to romance a male dwarf or feel Varric is their "bro," so both these things could influence the writers one way or another.

Iron Bull...?? As a LI? Frankly, I don't see it; the devs have looked down their noses on those who want to have a "fetish" romance with a qunari. 

Gray Warden guy? Maybe? He is older, and so you'd think he'd be in the "mentor" category, but the devs have made comments about LIs not being traditionally attractive this go round.

Cullen... I still don't feel Cullen is a companion. But after looking at this list, just because there are so FEW good candidates for male LI, it almost makes me think he is one.

Well that could just be referring to Cassandra, even if I do quite like her strong jaw, or Vivienne, depending on what is/isn't under that Maleficent hat of her's, (still alternating between totally bald and third arm). Plus she does have a lisp apparently so that might not be seen as the most attractive quality.

But I'd be fine with having my Elfquisitor romancing Beardface, even if I would prefer him to be my Giles and shag my Inquisitor's mum instead. I'd go for the Iron bull if I didn't think her Qunari sympathies might get in the way of the relationship what with him being most likely Tal-Vashoth, or a bit of a pig. But you never know he might be dead sweet in the romance, and I'm sure my qunari will like him enough. As for my human mage, Vivienne and Cassandra are both pretty great candidates for her, though I'm not sure if both will be available LIs what with Sera probably taking up the token bisexual rogue and elf spots.

...where the man to the left of the Inquisitor (his right) looks suspiciously familiar. Lola has done a good amount of videos on her channel where she talks about all the info that has been collected about DAI, so that's a good place to catch up on anything you may have missed.

Loved your article Moto. I do have a question as someone who has only ever read the Hobbit. I thought that "She-elf" was just something the bad guys said once to Arwen, then in an effort to connect Tauriel to Arwen's awesome riding scene and play off of the love for the character they had the orc call Tauriel that.

I did wonder, considering a lot of the review sites have kind of been like, "Meh it didn't need to be there." (the romance triangle) particularly. They do think the importance of the love triangle will come up in the next movie, but I agree with you and them it's totally unnecessary to have the love triangle.

I think they might have used "she-elf" in the previous film (probably not the books, since Arwen isn't even really in the books... she's in the appendices). It still makes "elf" the default, and "she-elf" the other.

Well like I said, I like romance (A LOT). I'm a sucker for it. If Tauriel hadn't been the only female character in the entire film, her being a love interest for two male characters might not have been a big deal...

Sorry, I meant Sera would be the bisexual rogue in the sense that I think she'll be the Zevran and Isabela of this game. Obviously Leliana was a bisexual rogue but she wasn't the shag anything that moves type. I'm totally expecting them to be bi if they are romanceable.

u know now that u've mentioned I kind of dislike the fact that they made the rogues be all.... idk screw everything that moves type of thing, and i suppose Leliana is kind of an exception since shes not  "all out " like that as it was with Isabella and Zev

Yeah, I'm bisexual myself but I'm also a massive prude when it comes down to it so it really gets on my ****** when the rogues are like that. I didn't mind it so much on Isabela for some reason though but even so. Leliana was so much better in that respect for me even with her history as a bard. Even so, I can only really bring myself to romance her with a female Warden for some reason.

TBH I don't think that Inquisitor is a rogue. Customization is extensive and let's you wear hats regardless of class (will check)

This is why I wish Bethany and Sebastian had actually been party members together in the game proper instead of just the DLC, as it was really nice to listen to him interact with someone and not annoy them. Plus he seem to flirt with her far better than Fem!Hawke, what the hell?

If he's returning and is indeed that fellow with the goatee, lets hope it comes with a Personality Upgrade DLC.
